My advice go with Monte live with Java based OS. Enjoy and in one to two years getan advanced Android phone as these will take over and you'll want one----save money nnow an spend it when it really counts.

Anonymous, 09 Aug 2010i am trying to decide between the monte and the nokia X6. I... moreDude the X6 costs twice the price. Overall the specs are similar but the X6 runs an OS Symbian, where as Monte is JavaOS. So this is a big difference---as X6 has third party apps you can install.
So you can't compare the two phones. Compare it to a Samsun running Bada OS.

i am trying to decide between the monte and the nokia X6. I wanted to know if one can do IM on this phone in terms of gchat etc. and also if one can view you tube videos etc or does the low internal memory of the phone create problems for that?

I need to know weather this phone plays flash videos in site that is in web browser itself (Like - You-tube, mega-upload, etc ) or with other application and if it can open facebook site like computer (as it has heavier amount of Java-script used) or mobile site only.
