dunno how to connect wifi in this aw... moreaccordin to me its not difficult to use wifi dude, jst turn on ur wifi and search for wifi access point, after that if da searched wifi device is not locked then press on it and it will b connected, after dat u can use internet,
through this i m able to get an approx downloading speed of 100 kbps on mobile..........njoy.......

dunno how to connect wifi in this awesome phone..
in my college free wifi there.. but i could not access.. kindly tell me the procedures... i read the previous pages for wifi connection(a big procedure), but its not working.. pls pls pls pls pls somebody help me.. just the steps alone

samsung, 08 Aug 2010Is this free of cost..The awesome part of Monte, is you can tell it how to connect to Internet. For example, Airtel Live, Mobile Office, WAP. If you use WAP, then GPS is free---b/c your connecting to a WAP router or wireless modem. So now instead of me logging into my laptop to access Google Maps or Gmail---I use Monte. But if I am outthe of the house, then yes you get charged if you use Airtel Live to connect. So its up to you really.

For example, if you have Windows XP, Windows Media Player 10 or 11 installed, the Monte driver does not install properly and your phone is not seen by KIES.

No QWERTY is a big headache.
It is a little buggy (ex. delete specific memory area and it still deletes all anyway).

michael_metal, 08 Aug 2010I want to buy a (Samsung) phone which is retailing for less... moreactually ur real confusion is wid samsung monte and corby pro cz wave is a higher range phone and also a smartphone, so if u hv a range to 10000 den u need to choos between corby pro, monte and star 3g in samsung series, as far as i concerned, i used all three of them and believe me that in every sense monte is much better than these two, jst a one feature is missin is there is no flash in monte which czs prblm in nights, bt all in all a good deal..............go for it..........

I want to buy a (Samsung) phone which is retailing for less than INR/Rs.10000. It should have good sound quality, a fast and bug-free interface. I am looking for a sleek multimedia phone. I can make do with a QWERTY slider or a touchscreen - the latter if it also supports a virtual QWERTY keypad in the landscape mode.
I hear that Samsung Monte (5620) does not allow multi-tasking, in that one has to come out of the app one is in to the main interface, i.e one cannot skip between apps without closing the one we are in. Is this true?
I also want to know if not having a virtual QWERTY keypad in the landscape mode can be a headache. I have big hands. Will that make it difficult to operate a touchscreen like Monte?
I have been using a Nokia E63 until now but the lure of these new phones is heady :-) I am unable to decide between Samsung CorbyPro and Samsung Monte (5620). Samsung Wave, though eye catching and feature packed, is beyond my budget.
Please advise ASAP. Thank You :-)

Does This phone comes with integrated GPS just similar to Nokia 5230 or 5235.. CUZ the GSM review says its only for CZECH.. What about INDIA!!!!..
