In this GPS receiver is not effective. We have to show it to open sky, and after getting minimum 4 satellites then it takes 1 or 2 min to show the long,lat values.

Can any body suggest how to lock samsung monte , I wanted to lock menu, key bad, call so that unauthorised access can be prevented . Your response

hi can any one guide how to use the GPS in this phone.....i went inside the settings and opened GPS position...even though it gets some 2 r 3 satellites the phone is not showing any Latitude or longitude.......
could any one tell me how to use the gps....

hey guys got this phone today and i am mesmerized with the features it have.
after using nokia models for 3 years i decided to gamble and got this samsung monte s5620. and i don't have any regrets. till know i have gone through some of its features and they are just too good like:-
1.capacitive screen ..cheers for that u just have to move ur fingers just like feathers on the screen.
2.it's camera.its nice although it lack flash but still you can be satisfied with the pic's that u will click during day time.
3.it's music is way better.sound through head phone is also very nice.
4.widget is another feature that i am loving in this is widget.After having nokia models it's a new feature to me.
5.its design can not go unnoticed.very trendy.
i will keep update you guyz . . i am excited because it's just a starting there are whole lot of new features that are hiding in it that are to be unfolded by me
