I'm thinking of buying this phone but I still... more1- very responsive. feather touch.
3- very easy. just copy any jar file to your phone/memory card. open it. follow the wizard steps.
4- except the qwerty keyboard i miss nothing and love the intuitive and user friendly interface.

Hello, all
I'm thinking of buying this phone but I still have a few questions. If anybody could help, I would apreciate it.
1- how is the capacitive screen response? Is it swift or does it lag?
2- I read in another review that when acessing the internet, the phone sometimes disconects from wi-fi and goes into 3G without notice, causing data charges from your network provider. Has anybody experienced this?
3- how easy is it to install java apps, like the opera mini and games? I've seen on here (forums) that you have to make some changes to the install files in order to get it right. Has anybody tried to install the We Travel GPS application?
4- How is the overall user experience?
Also, I was thinking of buying the orange version instead of the silver one, but what I understood from gsmarena's review is that the final version is the silver on black. Does anybody know if both versions are equal in terms of hardware (besides the back cover) and software?
Finally, can anybody confirm that there will be a firmware update for this phone (possibly bringing qwerty keyboard)?

I had this for 1 week now its really easy to use and battery life is very good ,only thing i hated was calculator it does not have % percentage?? {icon} to use because i have to use lot of that in my workline...apart from that its simple and easy to use phone..............thank uuuuu.

once movies are down converted to 320x240 it plays well in monte,Though this aspect ratio do not fill the screen in landscape mode. Is there any utility to down convert movies to 400 x 240 so that the output movie would (seems) fill the entire screen in landscape mode. any opinion. Thanks.

samsung monte is just a amazing phone amongst all da touch phones camera facility provided is extremely fine. and da costing is also nt to much.

Singtel sells Monte at $48 with 2 yr plan. But M1 sells it for $0 with similar type of 2 yr plan. Why?

rajasekar, 17 May 2010Hi....i am using this Phone for past 15 days and sometimes ... moreThe probable reason could be - when you use tight jeans the mobile gets over pressurised and the battery gets disconnected internally, So this is not a problem you can keep the battery portion half out side of your pocket - perhaps this can solve your problem.

wats d use of taskmanager as such???
though u cant switch apps,u can close 1 or multiple apps at a flash.

ofcouse its not our prob but its p... moreU can add numbers in reject list from logs,but u also need to activate number rejection from settings.
give it a try.
