Aashish, 19 May 2010thanx 4r the information friend.... but it is difficult to... moreIt uses T9 input (predictive text) to help enter words in selected language (say English). And it can guess words based on what you typed last time. Also you can add new words.

anon, 19 May 2010vcards are supported and are automatically added as contact... moreThanks reg vcard.you said 500. But in this case where contacts are 700 with about 900 to 1000 numbers..samsung monte is not getting ALL THE CONTACTS . Tried thro vcard tried thro gmail sync and even tried thro MAC Bluetooth. Transfer happen but not fully. Any clear & better solution please.

well am thinking of a fone 2 buy....and some one suggested me this one...
i like all its features but,.........
Is it true this this phone doesn't have a on screen QWERTY keypad..??
but with out a on screen QWERTY keypad its hard 2 type on a touchscreen fone....as a student i have to do al lot of typing.....

In samsung monte the sync is not getting the contact from Gmail.Either it shows error or unable to import say 700 contacts . Has someone tried to sync with gmail or tried to import vcards or csv to monte phone book.Thanks.
