Blame the marketing and management team for short project lifecycle in order to cut costs, costs and more costs and to rush the product to the market to gain market share. The end result is undoubtedly a poor quality product which takes time to correct all software related problems through many versions of software patches which you are very likely to download and install.

Dude, i flashed my phone to S8000, but see that there are some problems in the naming of the menu items.. Is there any way to rebrand my phone to S8003?

PRICE $425 much better that I8000 $750!!!!
Don't be fooled, the S80000 Jet is identical to overpriced I8000 , Except smaller screan and smaller batterry capacity!
Larger battery by 400-500 mAh and llarger by 0.5 inched screan do not cost $300 extra - SAMSUNG!!!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I have a S8003 and my friend has a used phone shop. The software has quite a few bugs. I've read that there are problems with the installation and removal of widgets. Also, the browser needs to be tweaked. Personally, I've experienced battery drain when using gprs/edge to browse the web versus other comparable phones with the same listed talk hours reviewed on this website. Also, the sound recording sounds terrible..i don't know how to change the setting.

I'm very tempted to get this phone. How responsive is the touchscreen? A good touchscreen is my main priority and I would prefer a capacitive screen. The review vids seem quite good and responsive. Do you have to press firmly? how easy is it to scroll down lists?

hey guys, i visited samsung india website for phone software update:

It has updates for four phones,out of which one is S8003.I thought this would help u guys.

can any one tells me how to update my phone : i installed the latest NPS and when i pres update it tells me phone is not recognizec althought the NPS reads it and i can manger files frm it ... and i need to install arabic language on it .. my package came which arabic manual but the fone itslef has no arabic lang ... i neeeeed any ones help .. i want to update my phone plz tell me how :D
