would have bought it if it had wi-fi. dumb decision a phone in this class to lack wi-fi in 2009.

I've heard that if u charge the phone when it's switched off, the battery life should perform better. Do u think this is / know if this is true?

Can anyone help?? I bought this phone on sunday... very nice phone i must say but my auto rotate does not seems to work well.. meaning if i open a photo to view, when i rotate anticlockwise, it turns but its not able to turn back when i tilt the phone back to its original position. Anyone can help?? Thanks!

I know this phone has an anti scratch screen, but if u want that extra bit of protection then here's a handy tip.
TIP:
When you first receive/purchase the phone it should come covered with loads of clear protection films. Remove all except the one applied to the screen. The touch screen still works with this on. The only other thing you need to do is carefully cut the protruding tab (put there to help remove the protective film), and you've got yourself a free screen protector!
Can i also just say this is a fantstic phone. Very responsive/high quality screen, construction/build quality is excellent and the camera is brilliant (vibrant colours, especially reds and blues.
Using the phones accelerometer to scroll through pics was a nice touch too.
Some people have been having issues with the battery life, but i seem to get 3-5 days worth depending on usage (i'm not on my phone 24/7!!), which i think is quite good. This is comparable to the iphone which is roughly the same, if not worse, and the fact that a lot of people have probably purchased this phone cos they didn't want an iphone, i'd give it two thumbs up. And who knows, samsung might bring out a better battery or a software update in the near future.

Hi! I have a strange trouble with the camera: sometimes, when I open it, the autofocus does not work, I mean it makes a continuous "bzzz" sound like if it was trying to focus, but stays in a kind of macromode, and the picture is fuzzy (it's already obvious on the screen, and stil more on the picture). Yes, I checked the macromode, it's off!!! Can someone explain/solve that problem? Thanks

I picked this up really for the camera and the stylish get up. It has been a month now and I am very pleased with it. I have been using Samsung phones the last 4 years, so that probably helped me get into the menus quickly. The widgets work well. The camera and flash are superb with good red as well as blue reproduction. The only trouble is with the battery. If you talk half an hour every day, you have to charge it every day.

Does anyone know if you can set the phones e-mailapp into "automtic pull", now i have to press download everytime if i want to check my e-mails...
i have 20 giga data-transfer with my belgian operator so i want to use it :-d

i liked this phone and went to buy it but when i saw only 880 mAh,i have changed my mind and went to innov which was 1200 mAh.

I really don't understand why people are complaining about the battery life. I can easily go through 3 days without having to charge it! And if I use it heavily the maybe a day and half. The thing that drains the battery out quickly is the call function.
tip on keeping a long battery life: do not leave ur phone plugged in after it has been fully charged!
