samsung apps store in UK now has 1044 apps! & in singapore 755 apps!..wow!..the wave has only been on the market for about 2-3 weeks..
but here in malaysia there r only 132 apps..common samsung malaysia..bring it in!!..
is it possible to buy the apps from other region?

Got the 8500 in stock late last week!
It has to be the best phone we have in our store atm!
The screen can only be described with one word: Awsome! both the contrasts and the touch is unbeliveble! As for the price around $500 is a very good price! Here in Norway the price is about $620!

On Wave I just need NDrive and that's all I want, imho it's the best gps app. Now two questions: what sdcard class should I have to record 720p movies onto it, so it doesn't stutter? I have 8gb class6, but planning to buy 16gb and I only could find a class4. Should that be enough for it? And how about class2? I ask that because I saw 720p videos are encoded at 10-15Mbit, and according to that even class2 sdcard should be enough, but you can never be sure. And the second question: in my country (Croatia), the lowest price I found is $492. Is that a good price? Should I go for it? Tnx for the answers...

1)call recording - yes, can record.if i'm not mistaken, even video call
2)doc. editing - nope,just view only
3)internet speed - depens on the connectivity (wifi@network oeprator)my wifi at home,the wave loads pages even faster than my notebook..seriously!
4)multitasking - definitely the gem of wave,easy to learn

To Samsung Wave owners:
- How is loudness with loudspeaker ?
- Can you install easily java applications ?(on my Pixon you cannot install java files directly from the phone, had to use Wap)
- How is sound when recording video in loud place (disco)?

brynn, 16 Jun 2010JUst spent 1hr gaming about an hour on web an got headache ... moreYes, screen brightness is superb. I use it level 1 or 2 all the time. Even lvl 1 is ok in daylight. color is so vivid, crisp and sharp. I think the color is even better than laptop display.
After using the Wave, don't want to look at other phones' screens anymore. SuperAMOLED is simply the best. Thanks to Sammy.
My bloody iPad's screen is totally useless outside the house, can only use for a mirror, whereas the little wave's screen doesn't lose it's charm even a bit.
