[deleted post]I'll try to ask some dealers i know if they already have stocks since i will also buy from them.. Some of them delivers nationwide via LBC so it's very convenient, the only thing is you have to trust them because the mode of payment is through bank deposits..

Maybe the wave has the functionality to encrypt or to lock SD cards so it will only work with it.. And about the battery charging while transferring files using USB, if you connect and transfer in a few minutes, i guess it won't hurt the battery..
I myself was used to charge the battery of my phone when it was totally drained.. I hope in future phones, the user will have the choice to charge the phone or not while connecting to a USB..

1 question tho,on the 8gb card provided by samsung,it says micro sd hc..i put it into my card reader (using the micro sd adaptor provided) but it cant read it...it says 'please insert disc'..i tried with other adaptor that i hv, but still same result..was it my card reader or what?currently i'm depending on solely on the usb cable to transfer data to my card..i dont really like the idea of using usb cable to transfer data coz in the same time it'll charge the phone..its not good for the battery to b charged frequently when it's still not drained..any1 can answer?
anyway, i bought the card readers a few years back..way before micro sd were introduced..

Zam, 14 Jun 2010oo..which part of sabah r u from?been there quite few times... moreu can use the touch focus to make professional-like videos .. it's so sad that it's not present .. i loved the feature when saw it on the iphone ..
HD cupture + 30 Fps + touch focus + video edit program (sony vegas or so) = best combination for a living-like videos ...

dont worry bout wave 2 & wave 2 pro..i've read somewhere on the net bout the next few models from samsung that will run on the bada platform..& based on my reading,they were no better than the wave..a more simplified version (most probably with less features) & the wave 2 pro is a vertical slider wth keyboard..they said that the wave's still the flagship model for bada..but u can wait for the next few days..samsung'll b announcing bout it tomorrow..
to answer another question - no, there's no SKYPE on wave..
what's the use of touch focus on video recording..video recording is different from taking still pics..IMHO..

they used to say it hat continuous autofocus for the video recording .. but now they changed it .. it's not written any more !!! Does it feature that ???

i would like to answer few questions here:
1)touch focus-yes but only for still pics,not video
2)home screens-up to 10 man..and the menu screens also up to 10
3)bout the 1ghz processor..IMHO,hardware-wise all wave comes with the same spec,only the FW is different based on specific region (for god-knows-why reason..)
4)yes, i would try & insert a 16@32gb sd & see what happens..i'll let u guys know the result..
it has been 15 hrs now & the battery still got 30% left..i think its decent enough considering that it's the 1st charge..after a few cycles it should get better..besides, i spent most of the time doing the settings on my wave...cant wait to xplore more on it..
i really2 need to stress here "AUDIO & VIDEO QUALITY IS DEFINITELY OUT OF THE MOBILE WORLD" SUPERB! AWESOME!

Oh i see.. But it's goos that they thought to provide a case for the asian market,plus an 8gb mem. card..
I hope il be getting it soon.. But now im worried that the Wave 2 will be even better n make me regret the wave.. Hopefully not..

[deleted post]it's a real wave, kaya siya 10 gig, 2 gig phone memory plus free 8 gig memory card.. I've contacted that store before, but unfortunately, the one they are selling doesn't have a 1 year warranty.. The store is on Libis QC..

i emailed samsung phil.earlier regarding the cpu and ram, no response yet. if not the humming bird 1ghz then im 1 of the many people here in our country that will be very disappointed in samsung.its not mentioned in their site(samsung phil what the cpu is).dami kasi mga speculations about cpu and ram.AGPS is not that important to me atleast here in pinas.. iv been waiting for this since its announcement... SAMSUNG PHILIPPINES release nyo na handset dami ngaabang isa na ako..

But that's not official..
