I got this phone..... Extreamly low power consumption of Wi-Fi and no need to manually connect Wi-Fi.... it is really convenient to use Wi-Fi with low power consumption.

Pinoy here. I been to greenhils/vmall but I cant find samsung wave. according to them they dont have it yet, probobly next month... Where can I buy it? I eally want it now... and I also need the price... please help....

Just a simple advice: don't buy it now. Wait a few months, when the hardware and firmware bugs will be fixed. Every phone has bugs. And it will be cheaper too. And there will be more apps too, more colors...

why childish? LOL..maybe u should change your wallpaper so your homescreen wont feel childish.. . peace

c'mon, this phone is affordable, really.. and specs is top-notch, its like paying for the phone without OS..
cant wait till this phone is available here in Uae,or Phills..
BTW, any news bout new games for bada? i saw a comment on youtube saying therell be couple of new games (prnceofpersia,ironman2,etc2x..)

my friend got it & i liked it but icon placing n widgets, home screen is not impressive.. it feels childish.. built quality isn't really good considering price tag but sound, display are positives.i

On a scale from 9 to 10 Samsung S8500 gets a 9. Legen - waait for it - daaary Amoled screen, tha colours are amazing. You can see everything under the direct sunlight. The phone is ultrafast, excellent ergonomics. The battery can handle 2 days of extensive usage, 3 days of normal use. Some neet applications, obviously, Samusung has to enlarge their number. I am pretty much into photography, so the camera played a significant role in making the decision, what phone to choose. Samsung really nailed it! You can control ISO, WB, Flash, not to speak about the video-recording, which is "un vrai chef-d'oeuvre". With Samsung S8500 you can forget about Lightroom and Photoshop - the phone provides splendid photo editing. The speaker is perfect, I had to turn it down not to get deaf. THe webrowser is very good-looking. Highly recommended, iPhone is nervously smoking outside and biting its fingernails.

This is the type of phone I've been looking for. It looks like an actual phone that will be comfortable to use while on call. Does anyone know when it'll be available in Canada? Thank you in advance. :)

contacts.
calendar.
photo.
music.
video.
apps.
and even tethering..

When downloading widget thing the widget shows it fillng up with water & wen full its done downloading..Ive got 5 homescreens with 1 app on some & need to get used to it cause still admiring the WAVE..Wait till u see size of box it comes in its tiny..Feels solid in hand. App store will grow & is sorted into free & paid apps..To me its very android like..love it so i am off now to study booklet on how to use it ..oh & SAR value is 0.988 W/Kg ..
