Hi all just a quick question. Can applications be downloaded on this phone like other phones, for example BBC Iplayer, Sky Sports etc ?

This phone is now avaible in Portugal, i bought one and i love it. Is fantastic, the quality of the display, i never see better. The super amoled its really good. I like the sensility of the touch and all the software. I love this phone

...the slide on top for a quick menu is an iphone thing( i mean jailbroken the SB setting) the arrangement of icons is an iphone original, followed by lg, samsung and some nokias. can samsung make something that hasn't been done by apple??? of course craps of samsung can't be done by apple.. hehe

the wave is ace, on par with the htc desire it so fast and easier to navagate than the desire, and Bada seems very good aswell, with its super AMOLED screen it is so clear for watching video in HD, im very impressed with the wave it so much better than the jet ultra, go to your local carphone to have a play with it.

Hi all,
Is the S8500 available on the U.S. market yet? I'm checking online stores as well but mostly it seems not in stock yet.
This phone does look and sound (by reviews) very promising. Kudos for Samsung.

Fantastic review by Mobileburn on youtube...A++
Very recommended.
It shows things I didn´t knew: if you keep pressed the space bar it pops up punctuation signs, tabbed browsing, and much more.
I love it´s browser, they do not know that in order to see flash content you have to select it on settings but for the rest everything as expected.
C´mon gsmarena...show your review...;-)
By the way, engadget is also about to publish theirs...at least at the spanish site.
