Have a look at the review from mobile-review (in russian but soon in english). I downloaded the video samples, and even the non HD video (720x480) are the best i ever saw with a phone.
Prefer Wave to N8 because Symbian is a real pain and i am pretty sure Samsung will make updates for the phone and will make a lot of apps.

If you can wait ,then you can go for samsung i9000.
