Definitely not encour... morei agree with u . plus i think samsung has done a very mean trick . they have announced the release time for the wave many times ( end of march , end of April , may and finally at the end of June ) , they also has promised that bada store will have 100 apps then 300 apps and what happens is we never see this bada store or their SDK . i think this is pure teasing and disrespecting attitude from samsung . finally by the end of July , the new nokia n8 will be available and it will be for 500$ before tax also next month apple will officially announce their new os and probably the new iphone too and i think htc and nokia automatically will release many products by the summer . what i wanna to say simply is wave is a good product however by the time of the "expecting" release , their will be many other devices better than the wave and even cheaper . and the dream of selling 10 million waves by the end 0f 2010 (for the expecting price) will be just a Big ILLUSION.

The S8500 is responsive and quick. The menu looks almost exactly the same as the iPhone's, but the screen is magnificent. So clear, so crisp. Scrolling is smooth, apps open quickly. I think I'll be getting myself one of these! Only wish it had an FM transmitter.

people seem to think that we dont need another phone os but i dont see anyone complaining about nokia and intel coming up with meego or blackberry inventing brewmobile.new is good cos it means progress!!

Android is a free, modern, good looking OS for touchscreen phones of every phone manufacturers. Why bother to lauch another one especially for Samsung ? I guess because Samsung want to sell us many applications, which could have been free with another OS. Getting more money is what it is all about.

Apparently this phone full of gorgeous gorgeousness is to be released in the uk on may 14th as a sim free/unlocked phone but no information as to which service providers will be taking on the fone has been released as of yet. grrrrr im hoping to have this phone but my bday which is the 20th may :o(

Actually Samsung models in project are so exciting compare with other companies. S8500, I9000(not so much for me), I8520, M8920 are really exciting.
With an open eyes for WinMo7 end of 2010.
To be Sure, Samsung MUST begin RIGHT and GOOD with first device of their NEW OS (Bada). S8500 will be a GREAT model!

Nice try, but who will make applications just for Samsung Bada phones when there are already Android, WinMobile, IPhone, Symbian...etc. Only Samsung will try, then forget it and develop Android. Sure !!!

which has the best quality footage, samsung or sony ericson lively wave? the reproduction of FIMAG made by gsm arena was with a pre production model? we can expect something more on the quality of shooting?
