          i think tis ph is just a starter. Not heavy weight. Just like nokia introduce 5800 b4 N97. Once bada become well known with enough apps, samsung will make a monster ph, no doubt about it.

            ac.phil, 22 Feb 2010samsung , you do have great and powerful phones but try ... moreThe new Samsung S8500 Wave is good, but, the camera is low 5.0 MP. I am currently using the S8300 Ultra Touch, the camera is 8.0 MP. which i like very much, the only problem i have is the bettery life, it is too short for me, after making and receiving some few calls, it goes down. I think, its only the software Bada, of which i really don't know about . But, when it comes to Designs and features, Samsung is good at that. Though, i don't know about Bada really, may be you can enlighten me a bit on it.
            Thank you.

                  samsung ,

                  you do have great and powerful phones but try to make a phone with super amoled, 8-12 mega-pixels with dual flash, hd recording,bada ui but powered by android (eclair) or the latest version possible, and the body must look like the motorola milestone droid (with qwerty keyboard for easy typing or chatting, thin and sexy body with glossy and glorious designs) and if you can try to put a projector just like the samsung beam and lastly it should came up with no bugs or lags and the best experience of web brosing with ultimate speed.......
                  if you made all these "you made our dreams possible....."
                  samsung as i care.......

                            Anonymous, 15 Feb 2010no HDMI slot ???? Well - it has DLNa, so you can share stuff w your TV;
                            Also - it has aluminium single shell body, that GSM arena has missed out.
                            It also has SocialHub sw, which pulls together thru Seven all kinds of SNSs, IMs, calendar and contact services from the cloud.
                            So - all in all - pretty solid stuff.

                                  Whats with all the bada hate? So far all i have seen is a very smooth iphone like experience with this platform in its alpha state. its so fast and no jerkyness that we get with other platforms......

                                  Samsung is a big company, they are still releasing phones with other platforms so no need to whine like babies.

                                  Im actually looking forward to this phone.

                                    So, they are releasing a SMARTPHONE with BADA OS... Lol and Lol. I guess they didn't learned anything from there experience when they decided to put LiMo OS in there phones and those away more years developed Andorid and Symbian Os... Very nice move, very nice.. What are those marketing experts thinking?

Someone with capability to rearrange and modify the internal systems of this new os, interrupts the firmware every 0.000016 n secs, switching the ROM to the RAM, underclocking the cpu down to 434 MHz (319 MHz recommended). And final step is much much much praying, hoping it can changes to symbian. Now, you can easily install symbian softwares into this phone :)

                                        hope this hep.
