This is the phone I have been waiting for. For the past few months, there have been some great phones, but for one reason or another they have missed the overall mark. However this phone has everything I'm looking for:
Multitouch, Capacitive, super AMOLED screen, inc outdoors
Sleek design
Fast processor
GPS
Bluetooth
Radio
Brilliant quality camera
The only downside is that it's on a new OS, so the app store and available apps are limited unlike the apple store or the android store. However I don't think it will matter that much, the future is only a second away and I'm sure they will be working hard on apps.

Hey guys its me Park Jae Bom from 2pm, i think the touchwiz 3.0, seems like a downgrade from the touchwiz 2.0, if they were going to improve it there should be a cube menu (still with the limited multimedia gate). They should make the menu more customizable, browsing and keyboards a but more comfortable although currently they are adequate.

This phone will be the same as Omnia HD. Promises and not more
Why are not they able to release the same spec phone with Android?

This phone should have better specs than 8910 Omnia. Instead we have a smaller display and a smaller MP camera. Why?

Swagata, 15 Feb 2010what's the use of capacitive screen when there is no multi ... moreThis looks like a very interesting phone. Of course especially the display. Actually this maybe the first colour display that is useful outdoors in sunlight. That alone makes it a killer phone.
To Swagata: The proximity sensor IS there, look at the preview, and then two blue dots close to the name in the top on this picture: http://pic.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/samsung-s8500/preview/ofic/gsmarena_002.jpg

Lol this is my dream phone, smartphone, cool camera,720p HD,1Gh proesor,3,5 mm audio jack,Divx/Xvid,all connectivity options you want, very snappy UI,Super AMOLED is gorgeous, plenty of apps to come, sleek and stylish design and perfectly sized for pockets with scratch resistant screen,1500 mA battery(I think it should do the trick).
The only downside I think will be the price tag.I hope it's not too high.

FYI, Bada is NOT an OS. It's an open platform that can be run over both prioprietary real-time OS's and on Linux OS. People should stop confusing it for an OS!

I did not buy a Pixon12. But it was not because of the price. I only got a resistive touchscreen, no mini jack, no android OS (or BADA).
