jst tryin to update my phn software through kies latest version......
while updating i got a msg 3000MB space required...
i hv alrdy 3900 MB space avlble in mobile...
i try too many tyms but evrtym prob is same...
help me frnds ....wot i do nw ??
i alrdy cleared internet browsing temp files, closed all widget,nd also all msg ..

hmmm.the firmware is released in india.but im a little apprehensive about upgrading.
the thing is that i hav about 3.25 gb of spoofed games.and i lov those games.if i upgrade the firmware,will i be able to play those games???????
and secondly,is the call recording feature still there????
Guys,pls tell these things who hav upgraded their firmwares......................pls pls pls :(

AnonD-6510, 19 Apr 2011i also use windows 7 .. but mine is 64 bit...i have the lat... moreI hope your internet connection is not giving you any problem in middle of the upgrade. That can be a potential trouble maker. Otherwise use some other 32-bit system to get this done.

Notable changes in 1 hour:
1. Trace in messages
2. Some interface change(Music and Video player mostly)
3. Different "Sweep Screen to Unlock" homescreen
4. Can use phone while connected to Kies or Mass Storage (I really wanted this)

Today evening I updated to Bada 1.2. When the download was over and the firmware was being updated, Kies threw a message that some error occured and it needs to do emergency firmware recory. Since I had no other choice, I gave ok and some firmware was installed automatically. When I checked the settings, I found that the Software Update option was gone, so I thought the emergency FW is Bada 1.0. But, when I checked System Info, VOILA, the firmware is Bada 1.2!!

First kies prompted me to download the latest version of kies for firmware upgrade which I did. Then the whole process took approx 20 min and that was it.
FYI I run Windows 7 32-bit OS and I have a 2 mbps broadband connection. Important-you should have latest version of kies. Hope that helps.

my firmware upgrade does not proceed.. it stops at some point.. and says "failed to run firmware upgrade. unknown error occurred" . anyone facing the same error ?? any suggestions ???

Guys,
Today morning finally I found BADA 1.2 update in Kies.
Thought finally Sammy released it after looooooooong wait..now comes the monster Kies !!
When I tried to upgrage, it just stuck at "Preparing all components for upgarde" .. and thats it.. tried thrice before coming to office.
I never facing such issues with Kies before..only read such things in various forums..now I am the victim of this shitty software :(
enough of venting....
anybody from India are able to successfully update via Kies??
Will try again after going home.
I am thinking of getting 1.2 from Samfirmware, as I can still use my spoofed apps... and can get Social Hub Premium as well.. Is it safe.. Any suggestions..??
