hi
i tried to upgrade my wave the internet got disconnected, when it resumed i tried again and it keeps prompting either the battery needs charging though its fully charged or the upgrade gt disconnected try again, any idea on how to go over this

hey guys,
has anyone experience their wave camera having lines on the screen (as well as the pics you took). There are days when i see those lines when i activate my camera and i just dont mind, then it just get cleared up after a day or two. But it happened 5x already just this year. I just dont know what causes it so i can avoid. Now, the camera is back to normal. Its so confusing.

Try removing your battery then re-placing it and turn it on. If it doesnt work, you may have to go to the samsung center to have it checked. Ask them to put the latest firmware on you phone as well so you wont be having problem about downloading from kies. tell then about the memory problem as well. that doesnt happen to my phone at all.

i was downloading firmware for Samsung S8500 Wave but due to powercut computer got switched off & now my mobile screen is blank(not working)... ever after switching off & on of mobile(mobile was charged full before downloading frimware). pls some body help me with this problem

i had an i8510 innov8. it was wonderful, but samsung decided to forget it. the same feeling i fell about the wave s8500. i wonder to know the reason to waste to much time developing a device like this...

yeng, 12 Mar 2011you're right. me, i dont do anything on the firmware of my ... moresame here. no updates done on my Wave1 since Nov. 2010 and it's working great up to now! no problem at all! and still enjoying its features! go for Wave!

S8500 nd S8530 Will get bada 2.0 in sept 2011.. :-(
so no bada 2.0 For india in july

it displays as as below
notice: additional 16mb system file space needed for upgrade. delete unnecessary system files.
but actually i have 347 mb free in phone and 14 gb free in memory card.....
so pls some body help me to download latest frimware so that i can download latest applications

after bada 2.0 available later (they say on july, whatever samsung~) i'm surely gonna vote all 10 in any aspect... rite now i think the OS is stable, only flash support don't have. hardware is fabulous... please, please...more apps pliz, useful apps. rite now samsungapps only have stupid theme for download, that we can get for FREE actually. stupid THEMES is NOT an APPS ...!!!!

Hi, I just bought this mobile and therefore I am new to many functions. My daughter has put her own details when registering for facebook and I do not know how to change them and put mine. Can anyone help me? Another problem is that on the webpage of Samsung there are all the countries except Malta. We are a small island but hey we are here. Samsung doesn't know about us?

I am also having the same problem. I tried ever... moreAll you guys who are puzzled about the memory issue, let me tell u that memory means RAM. That's it. Your memory card will be referred as storage or something else.
Now about the installation problem, remove all active widgets and clean up your browser cache and cookies. This frees up a lot of space on your RAM. Restart your phone and then try. This should help.
