i am torn between galaxy sl i9003 and wave.nope galaxy sl don have the same cpu+gpu compared to wave.its cpu+gpu is almost 10x slower compared to galxy s hence the wave too.its only upside is android.then agn it costs almost 100 usd more than the wave with an inferior hardware and camera(compared cam samples from gsmarena)but as i havnt used android before so i m cofused if to spend more for a phone which is less capable just for its OS.thanx for the reply bro and wud appreciate any more input.

galaxy s has 4 inch screen with android.u better go wid it.galaxy s and wave are almost same but galaxy s has 4 inch screen and a slimmer body than wave.if u can afford GALAXY S,then go wid it man.
and even if ur comparing Samsung I9003 Galaxy SL wid wave,galaxy is still better.it has same gpu+cpu man.
can u please be specific which phone r u comparing wave wid?

Shame on u samsung no major update for bada after 1 year i will nvr buy a phone with bada os cheers for android and ios they are really future for cellphones

Sammy is very bad in updating their OS. whereas the rivals Nokia, Apple, Android r great in this. they really care about their OS. they update the same OS according models. but sammy is totally reverse! they believe in marketing. that's why they continuous brings out new models with some tweaks! but FW update very hard to get. without this, this phone is a real gem. it can do everything which the others brand can & it's S-AMOLED graphics is top notch which others can't come even near!

The camera is the best,even beats my sony cybershot both in pic and video recording.

dude,many of the games hav been ported frm iphone.they hav great graphics and many good games ,which are about 15-16 in number, are about 200-400 mb size.seeing at the size of the games anyone could guess the quality of games.i think wave is the best handset ever made.it has all the great softwares like gps softwares, games,office softwares,txt editor,connectivity etc. the video playback quality is awesome and the music is fantastic.
I DONT THINK NOW U SHOULD HAVE ANY PROBLEM IN MAKING UR DECISION.

hi there wavers. i m plannin on buyin a wave 2morrow but i wud appreciate it greatly if an experienced waver could clarify some things for me.i can see that that there are some great games available for bada.but my concern is, if the amazing hardware specially the gpu is really put to use or not?will bada allow me to get the most use out of it?insight abt the cam quality will also b appreciated.p.s:plannin on flashin with new firmware,spoofin,nd doin nething 2 maximize its potential.advice me based on this

irvinehooi, 11 Apr 2011@ cooza Hi mate, I also wanna try out the dual core smar... moreYeah the call recording thing is bit of a black spot.It was in the wave and then taken out with an update.I've also seen it taken out of other phones too.the thing with call recording is that according to certain country laws,like here in spain,if you don't let the caller know you are about to record them,like you local operator does when you call with a problem,then its illegal and because there obviously would be a lot of people out there ready and willing to use it fraudulently it has been deemed illegal in many countries.the black spot is that apparently this information goes by each country so an international software can break laws in some places.I guess that's why they have regional updates too now.

i have bada 1.0 and i play these gamez everyday.though its written that these games support bada 1.2 but these games also run on bada 1.0. and since it works on bada 1.0 ,it will also work in bada 1.0.2.
u just try these games yaar.
i hav about 2.2 gb of spoofed games is my wave and some of d games support bada 1.2,but then also it is playable in bada 1.0.

Use less Mobile
No essential Softwares available for BADA in India.
NO good IM like Nimbuzz or Gtalk, MSN.
No NGPAY application, NO banking softwares available in India.
Then guys what the use of Multimedia Phone.
Stay away from Bada, Its been a year still no essential softwares made.....

As per my knowledge Samsung is very famous in restricting such function to works in their mobile phone. Such as my last Samsung INNOV8 also having to face such restriction (regardless whether installed any 3rd party recording app or not, because Samsung is restrict it in the firmware level) where other Nokia Symbian based phone doesn't have such issue / restriction at all.
So actually I need someone to confirm whether such "Call Recording" function / feature is restricted on Galaxy S2 or not.

Hi mate, I also wanna try out the dual core smartphone like Galaxy S2. But my main concern is the "Conversation Recording" or so called in other word "Call Recording" function whether such feature or function is available in Galaxy S2 ??

yes bada 2.0 will be released in india in july with new phones. like they did in v1.2. but will they update this beauty v2.0? whereas we didn't see the light yet of v1.2!
