Hi,
I've had my Wave since June '10 and have never had any firmware updates, i've looked through the forums and think i've got a problem but i'm not sure how to fix it. Help would be much appreciated.
I've got the latest kies 2.0 installed today. It says on it tht 'my device cannot be updated'
On my phone itself i'm running 'Software version: bada 1.0, 106012221LIS8500ACJF1'
On kies it says 'Current firmware version: S8500ACJF1/S8500VODJF2 (XEU).

jool, 30 Mar 2011I have my wave s8500 now for 6 mnds, still have problems th... moreThere is no problem in the phone. Its just that the call end button gets pressed when it in the pocket. When you press call end button for long time (even when its screen is locked) it gets restarted.

hmm.... can you list down the the differences between bada 1.0.2 does not have options that I phone has. and also Bada does and Iphone doesn't. Then decide what suit to your requirements best.
BTW, if you really need BADA 1.2 , you can get it from www dot samfirmware dot com and flash your mobile using multiloader. I am in Sri lanka and I am upgraded to Bada 1.2 in that way about 2-3 months back. Its working fantastic.

This phone sucks had mine replaced rebooted and it never did half of what it is suposed to never once had it connect with kies waste of money and time

plz when they are goin to release bada 1.2 for wave 8500 in India . :-) if they are making fool us . tell us frankly they goin to release or not in India .really now I'm losing interest on this phone .

maxthon 3 internet web browser is the no 1 ,best browser in terms of all speed compatability and lightness , believe me or test it yourself. mozilla chrome opera microsoft ie are nothing compared to it. please use maxthon and promote it
