hey what is the facerecognation usefor when i opening a picture there always facerecognation but i dont know what it for,,, any info ????

Hi all wave users. I need your help.
I never face any problem with my wave but today morning when I switch on my phone,it,s screen was very dull. a few switch on and off did,nt help. removing battery and inserting again then switch on also did,nt help.increasing display light, no help.I went to samsung service centre. the tech. guy there change the wallpaper and everything was o.k. screen looks as gorgeous as before.
After half an hour it again become dull and poor.this time he suggested me to change the amoled screen. I asked him to try install bada 1.0 software afresh and see what happens.after installing bada software my phone,s screen again looks great. It is doing fine as of now.
My worry is that is it the bigining of degradation of amoled display or some software problem.ofcourse I will watch for a few days more but as i am approaching towards expiry of warranty period fast so later diagonisis will be useless as amoled screen is costly and if it fails then only option for my lovely gem will be bin.my phone is very-very less used.
any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Hi Wavers...
Anybody some messenger..which include Facebook chat as well and also can run in background when minimized...sp that if somebody pinged..we get the notification sound...

can flash files be played on dis Fone .I am trying to watch online streaming of cricket world cup but it does n't stream and just showed me the black screen along with the "f" symbol.has anyone steamed world cup matches on dis Fone reply

Had a question to all those upgraded to 1.2 firmware is there any issue with this firmware bcoz i can see negative comments abt the firmware

I Bought waves8500 in september 2010.
It was a Pretty good looking phone but there was some small problems...such as
1)a big os problem that causes closing some widgets & running apps ...even when there is enough physically available memory but the os shows the memory shortage message...for example when u r editing a pic (in most of times)u will see the message.
2)sound profiles r limited & u cannot create or rename your own profile
3)and some small problems
BUT NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THE UPPER THE R IN S8500 BUT IT HAVE VERY IMPROVED ITEMS IN PHYSICAL DESIGN & FIRMWARE(BADA) AGAINST CAMERAPHONES THAT USE SYMBIAN...IN THE OTHER WORDS BADA IS MORE USEFUL THAN SYMBIAN...TRY IT THEN U WILL SATISFY ME

wonderful phone samsung wave is chanceless very good dependable photo...3g,wifi,camera clarity, everything is fine...love my phone...using it for nearly 8months...no problem with the phone!!!!!!!!!

after upgrading to bada 1.2 via kies about 2weeks ago, kies can't read my phone when plugged in to pc and when downloading or updating apps it always says error upon installing of the apps...anyone having the same problems?

i have had it for two weeks...before buying it I checked many other smartphones...so its fantastic!build quality,display quality.....the OS s also great...I hope bada 1.2 would be more OK...thanks samsung...go on to make such phones
