Wen you do a hardreset u dont need to remove ure sim and ure Memcard.Sim card stay in wil keep ure provider settings intact wen u start up after a HR,Memcard files wont be deleted,But the apps that already in the memcard wil need to dl again from ure samsungaccount in ure wave,So take some notes b4 you HR ure wave,Like settins and wifi code's and ure samsungaccount PW,The hard reset code u can search it in this forum,aswel,we handel a lot in the past in this forum about HR

hollow, 02 Mar 2011I wanted to buy s5800 Wave but there are some major issues
... more1.There are many great apps (atleast in indian store).Wave has almost all the built in features for which nokia and android give apps.May i knw wat sorts of apps u require?
2.Bada does not need any update.Bada 1.0 is THE best starting OS in the history.Nokia give updates every month (:D) but they add just 1 minor feature in each update.Thats really not done!!!!!! bada 1.2 came after bada 1.0 which is a major update.And now bada 2.0 is coming which is a MAJOR update.
3.KIES is running fine.U just need to hav some computer knwledge to make ur kies work to update ur phone.
4.Alarm clock problem is solved in BADA 1.2.
5.Again, u should hav some brains how to synchronize mails.I could do it in 15 mins.Take help frm someone or google it.
6.NAVIGATION???????????? Are u mad???SYGIC and NDRIVE all are available in websites with all maps and are free also and hav free navigation.
7.A software will be made for MSN also and i think i saw one in ROCKETALK.Try it.
BADA OS is just 1 yr old and see the apps growing!!!!I think it is the best phone both in hardware and in software terms.BADA does not hang,no virus problems,best hardware,and how many apps u want in a mobile????There are enough apps in d appstore and d quality is also good.Moreover ,if ur a gamer,then it is THE BEST phone in dis price.All IPHONE games are being ported to wave.

I wanted to buy s5800 Wave but there are some major issues
- If you look Apps for Wave,most of them are crap and useless.
- Samsung is not intrested supporting bada enough(updates etc)
- problems with updating the phone
- problems using alarm clock.It doesnt work reliably
- problems with synchronising emails
- lack of proper navigation
- lack of MSN messenger
- NO SPOTIFY FOR BADA OS!!
Yes it looks awesome and camera quality amazing but nowdays it is not enough.

@godzilla & @JT ... well guys i said earlier that i m not a heavy user... i dont play games all day.. i play them for only about 5 mins time.. and also if i need any info then i connect internet for few mins... but i will hard reset my set and will see whats the result after the reset..and i think i should also upgrade my firmware...what u say guys?

got a problem i updated my wave last night since 1.2 has just arrived here in the Philippines official via kies, my problem is it wont boot after the update, it just keeps showing the s8500 etc and the bada logo over and over again but its not booting ! how to solve this one ? need help badly

AnonD-2593, 01 Mar 2011i have only the battery issue nothing else i have read ever... more@mR-X... if u r a heavy user sp game then 1 day max. cause gaming is the thing which eats battery a lot. it's nt only in wave in every phone, even apple! the rest didn't take that much. u get 30hrs in mp3 which is enough & can watch 2 movies from a single charge! if u r avarege user then 2-3days max. depends on u in which way u'll use it...

JT, 02 Mar 2011Sometimes a bad firmware is also the cost of battery drain... moreAnd not to forget overly repeatably charging ure wave during ure sleeptime,Will surely short ure bat span everyday,Dont overcharge it,Keep the timer in awakenings time and make it as a habit to unplug it wen is full after 2.5 h of wall charging.

FW bada 1.2 is very genthel with the batery,But ofcorse a Hard reset after a update wil boost up the life span powerfully yes indeed to,acording to wavers,..Never try b4 I dont like HR u wil need to instal all apps and settings again.Me I'm a average user of youtubing and gaming+phoneingsms,but not listening to mp3 habbit at al,so i get 2 days with ease with my bat span.

the 1.0.2 is much better than 1.2 ... the 1.2 have swype
and some of the apps doesn`t work .
but the browser is awesome now it works smooooooth
