Hey ! Wavers from india, Check it out, Wave 8500 is now NOT available on support page of samsung mobile india website, We are out of date now................LOL, I feel like cheated........

I own one of these, a Wave GT-S8500, and the OS is bad bad bad... i hate it. no good apps and the interface is difficult to use. the screen is awesome though!

For those who have updated their S8500 to 1.2 officially:
What's the text message capacity, still 1,300 messages?
You still get "not enough memory", "page too large.." when using the Dolphin browser?
Still get the "content not supported" when trying to download some content using the browser?
The music player (in random playback) cycles back to the previously played tracks when you press the next button?
And lastly, are the Equalizer and Effects working when playing m4a tracks?
Hope somebody could answer.

I love this smartfone its brilliant and just short of a good twitter client,,any suggestions welcome.I have resorted to Snaptu for ease of use.I listened to 12 hrs of podcasts on 50% volume and still had 2 bars left.I have all i want in this device except a qwerty keypad but it will do for now.

Mga tol, haven't you noticed sa mga posts dito? It seems gsmarena is filtering posts to be displayed per region. Maybe it's just my imagination.
BTW, can't wait to see the first Nokia Windows phone. A possible Wave replacement.

And bada 2.0 will be officially announced soon. This is sad. 1.2 is not even available yet. I'll never buy another bada phone ever again.
After I updated to bada 1.0 dxjk1, my phone started to hang and restarts itself. Talk about half-baked updates.

,,i have registered there and i already have an account..its just that when i go to Settings->Connectivity->Wi-Fi->click circle button on the upper right->then click the click the small box in the right of SM Free WIFI.. the problem is that it's stock there with the rotating animation..the blue one..when you click the box..and di na lumalabas ung logo ng wi-fi na pinapakita na "connected" na siya..

I can answer the question why can't you connect to SM WIFI., first u need to register an account by first using your internet browser. Then log-in to their site., don't worry, you will be automatically directed to their site.
