Hello Users, pls help me as im facing a problem with my wave as some time i press the menu key it opens the search option, is this problem is with other users or only with me kindly reply how can i get rid of this problem???

1- is it possible to remove sim logo and sound logo from main screen which appears along battery status logo. if yes how ?
2- how to remove widget . . . . . . from main screen so that it appears neat and clean.

sylaw, 02 Feb 2011does this have a 512MB ram????? and how much of rom????? 512 mb ram has never been confirmed. Samsung did not provide the ram details of S8500 officially.

Is there a setting for incoming calls to speak the callers name ?
As my old Nokia Symbian phone did this. Its very usefull.

I've been using Samsung Wave for 2 month now it's an excellent smart phone, however I found four major issue:
1. Poor RAM management, playing music and opening two large Web browser pages will lock the phone until you close one of the applications
2. Web Browser is very cumbersome and has hard time dealing with JSP pages
3. No Folder play back for MP3, cmon it's 2011!
4. Can't open certain emails, Ebay emails for example.

hey guys i have a doubt , my broadband internet connection is not stable , sometimes it goes off suddenly and comes back to life after few minutes , my doubt is during update of new version if my connection is lost , wht will happen ?i have to say goodbye to my phone ?i will be stuck between the previous and next firmware or auto resumption is available ?this is the reason i haven upgraded to 1.02 version yet ....

D' Planner, 02 Feb 2011I'm forced to update my Samsung Kies v1.5.3.10103_102_1 to ... moreit is worthy upgrade. I too got this done today. Now u can connect Wave to the Kies via Bluetooth directly. U can use AllShare via Kies. Also Kies seems to run a little faster and less resource hungry than before.

Specs saying HSDPA 3.6 Mbps. Is this true? Most of the telcos have started to provide 7.2 Mbps connectivity...Full utilisation not possible..

hmmm i love ma fone....its amazing bada bada 1.0 is gr8 well i m waiting for 2.0 so wont care when 1.2 will release.....nyway best of luck guys its an amazing and best phone in this price range considering good and bad r part of our life and nothing is perfect ...and ppl who r telling wave is bad they ill love to hear their gr8 and perfect fone in this price.....

I'm forced to update my Samsung Kies v1.5.3.10103_102_1 to 2.0 because I won't be able to access Samsung App, if I don't. Hmm. I don't like that idea, though...Anyway, nothing I can do about that. Hopefully it's not a waste of time upgrading to 2.0
