I accidentally dropped it 4 times on hard surface and still the screen is undisturbed. Maybe you have not owned Wave or you are just unlucky my friend.

Hi guys! please give me a hint!... but please be objective because I understand that in this forum almost everybody have a Wave so... :-) here the question: i found in a shop a WAVE S8500 and the new NOKIA C7, about same price, so the which one you suggest me to buy???
WAVE + S.AMOLED, 1GHZ cpu, 480 x 800 pixels.
- 3g 3.6 Mbps and (very important for me) NO NAVIGATOR PROGRAM OR GOOGLE MAPS FOR BADA :-(
C7 + FREE NAVIGATION AND MAPS FOREVER, 3g 10.2 Mbps
- 360 x 640 pixels, 680 MHz cpu, fixed focus.
...this in short my point of view about the two phones, I really love the wave from his first appearance, but unfortunately I really need nav. and maps and for what I can see in all the forums is the big problem of the Wave and the all BADA os, I even see the thousand of complains about having google maps app in bada but seems google is not interesting, same think in the samsungapp web site, the widget about navigation is very poor and they are almost all to buy.
Can some one make me decide soon? :-) deep inside me I want the wave for the super specs. he have but practically I need the nokia for the lifetime maps and navigation for free.... help?! :-P

stop fighting with others because it doesn't help this forum...wave still lacks something but it is d chepeast gadget today that will suit to your needs..do not look on the hardware because it doesnt matter at all.. a 1GHZ Vs 800mHz would not make a big deal ...try to look on the other side of the phone not just to look on it's negatives...tech developers will not release something that is so latest ..if you notice improvements are very slow..and that's because they are thinking of another improvement ...this year they planing to release dual core phones...but wait a minute..think first ...is this new ??..NO....it is actually not new.it is already 4-5 years since they discovered dual core computers..and for a tech developer a year is enough for them to know how to apply it on phones...but they just make few improvements,for them to have time to think of a new one...computers with hexacore processors is already discovered and made..that is made by intel but still not available in the market...and even though it is available it is too expensive...so open your eyes..if you think you have the greatest gadget on earth your wrong ...so be advice that you only need this things just to satisfy your needs and to make living more comfortable...

dear all,
samsung wave has a bug problem on 1.2 if you have unread e-mail it gives your email ringtone which repeats every 30 minutes.and whats with web pages and other programs dont work.

No scratch but has minor bruises on top n bottom. I dropped it on street from my jacket pocket, still working and shining. That was w/o protector and dropped on concrete road shoulder to the the main pavement. I was just lucky everytime i drop it. Thanks Samsung and thanks God...

Samsung should do something with the glass cover of the screen. I have not seen so fragile glass on any other phones. They say it´s tempered glass, but is it really ?
My phone dropped from about 40 cm high coffee table to a carpet covered floor and the glass cracked ! In different forums I have seen number of people complaining about the same thing. Strange thing is, that in most occasions, the glass crackes the same way (from the upper right corner towards screen centre).
From samsung they said, that it can only replace by changing the whole screen (amoled + glass + speaker, that is also connected to it !) and will cost about 120 eur pluss repairment costs (some more 20 eur). This makes nearly halv the price of the phone itself !
Samsung should really do something about it....

Instant Solution:
Unplug the usb cable and plug it in all the other usb ports on your computer and it will connect.
I tried everything and this simple thing worked fine.
