I,ve noticed that some people still don't know the meaning of the word smartphone,so here is the definition from wikipedia:
A smartphone is a mobile phone that offers more advanced computing ability and connectivity than a contemporary basic feature phone. Smartphones and feature phones may be thought of as handheld computers integrated within a mobile telephone, but while most feature phones are able to run applications based on platforms such as Java ME, a smartphone usually allows the user to install and run more advanced applications. Smartphones run complete operating system software providing a platform for application developers.
so it is very obvious that samsung wave is a smartphone and it is becoming smarter day by day unlike some people in this forum who are becoming dumper day by day

I think u are frustrated coz u dont know what is the basic functionality of a phone is......use your phone as a phone only dont expect more from it......its an advice....it will make u feel much better...u are wasting ur time bashing....i know wave has limitations in terms of support..but we are ourselves to blame....we tend to find some kind of hacks and work arounds which are no legal and then start expecting more.....pls understand...bashing wont help...this shows u are having many other problems other than owning wave...and us frustration is coming out in this forum....cool down have a chill pill!!!

The reason why Samsung is delaying Bada 1.2 update for the S8500 bcz they want to establish the Wave 2 S8530 in the market. The same thing is gonna happen when
Bada 2.0 is launched in Feb.
It's the same that's happening in case of Galaxy S, android 2.3 wont be coming anytime soon bcz of the Nexus S.

note : i am not a nokia fan.
But buddy n900 is really good. My friend has it. With the latest mod, it runs ubuntu and android gingerbread. Its really good to use. Feels like a real smartphone. Don't just go for hardware. U sud give more importance to OS, user experience and apps. For eg : what is the use of a Lamborgini car in ur garage, if u don't know or cannot drive it. Its just useless then. . .try to understand.

Wonderful camera, beats my 14 MP Kodak Digi... moreno doubt its one of the amazing phone launched after a long time at such a affordable price but the camera isnt that good i had a SE 790i i.e 3.2 megapixel camera which is way better than wave unfortunately there are few thing missing like the clarity and stabelization or else no doubt good phone at the best price would be a good bargain if some one is looking for a worthy phone

Try browsing this very website with the dolpin browser. In order to read the text, we have to move the page left-right and up-down. But in browsers like opera mini, opera mobile, the text reflow is very good. Just need to move up-down for reading texts. The default sms app looks very classic. Wish it had been Bubble type. . .
These small problems lead to great problems. . .i will never buy samsung again. Never again. What a useless support. Or sud i say no support at all.
