is there any place here in the phil. where i can buy the spare battery pack for my wave? for all my phones i have all the spare battery packs which i charge in desk charger.
one more thing, do you know why my nokia n73,n82,x3-02, and e52 wont detect s8500 wave thru bluetooth? my aino is the only one that can detect my wave though. whereas my wave can detect em all. do you know the reason for that. is there any remedy for that?

Migrating from a HTC Touch Diamong with Windows Mobile 6.1 to Samsung Wave S8500 with Bada OS, I voted like this:
Design: 9
+ perfect: not small but not too big, looks like a mobile phone, good quality materials, very, very nice thing to hold it when speaking or using for other stuff
- it is more like a fear: the back lid seems so easy to open that could hapen accidentally (not hapened yet but...); and another fear: the glass in front of the back camera looks easy to be scratched off (again, not hapened yet)
Features (Related to BADA) 7
+ nice and easy overall
- hey, WM 6.1 isn't something to be proud of, still... smart dialing doesn't mean to learn numbers by heart but to quickly find the contact in the list whatever you remember: name, midlename, surname, company but never the number. wm on HTC touch diamond do it excellent. then, related to the phone and contacts agenda issue: i used to display in my older phone the contacts together with their company name where available, here I can't. not big thing but very usefull.
Performance: 10
+ very fast, good battery life for this kind of smartphone, very good audio, no blockings until now. Bravo!

This phone is not available in India. I planning to buy Wave II 8530. Any body already using, pl review it impartially. The original wave is not available any way. The C7 is available for 18K. It has 8MP cam, 10.2 Hspda and Amoled screen. Which phone is best value for money. The most important point for a smart phone is batter backup!

I just bought a Samsung wave 8500 two days ago and I noticed that this phone is user-friendly except that the battery consumption is high especially when playing games,the power last only a day. Color quality is extremely good and bright, photo quality is good too.The only issue here is that no competible Skype and MSN Window Live Chart are available in Samsung Apps, hope Samsung will put in their efforts to add in these two important programs.
