Wow finally I got this phone.i have no words for this ph.nvr seen a ph like wave in my life at this price tag.nokia where r u ,i was nokia fan but now I loveeeeeeeeee sam phons.hats off.plz plz plz dont say anything wrong abt this awesome ph.b patiance 1.2 bada coming soon.thanks once again

Anonymous, 13 Dec 2010guys wave stopped in india no spares i just went to servi... morethat is not true, samsunge give 2 years free waranty, so by law they have to honor it, if its a hardware issue, they HAVE to replace or repair, you can take them to the court otherwise, so there is no way they would not honor their contract

do you know how to do push mail for hotmail and yahoo?
is it possbile at all ? (I know GMAIL is possible)and how?
I am really desprate please help if you know it
I need to read my urgent emails (hotmail mainly) on the go, and respond to them as well

hi guyss...i still cnt seem to install brothers in arms in my fone.....installation path is memory card only....i have a 8gb class 2 card....so cn tht be the reason i get "insufficient nemory" error in kies???pls help

i just went to service center they said it would take one week to say whether spares stocks would be available

Dark gray shades only beco... morehi i also noticed this pinkish tint in grey areas on low brightness setting, has it improved over time? or still the same. it could be because maufacturers oversaturate the blues of a new super amoled screen cos blue dyes in the pixels deteriorate fastest..so as a compensation it is initially oversaturated...what do you think?

"NOT ENOUGH MEMORY PROBLEM"
This problem is caused because when we close an application taking alot of memory abruptly by pressing the end button.. (like in games which doesnt have proper exit button we are left with only shutting it down by pressing the end button) by this the application is closed but the memory it was using doesnt get free, so if we open any new application after that we get a "Not Enough Memory " ERROR.. So its not a hardware or OS problem.. if the applications or games get a proper exit button ... Thats the only reason when we restart our phone this error goes since restarting clears phone RAM..

Sometimes a foolish act by a great company like samsung can result as a big advantage for the consumers like us. Samsung produce a masterpiece S-8500 and through it at very cheap price in the market due to the apprehensions about the sucess of bada. Result - they could not meet the supply all over the world and were forced to stop production quickly. I am using this phone for the last few months. It is awsome and deserve if not more, then definetly equal to the price of galaxy-S. It is far better then i-phone which is with 3.5" screen at this price. Much better design and construction then galaxy-S. Solid and beautiful metal unibody as compaired to all plastic galaxy-S. Screen is 3.3 v/s 4.0 in galaxy but with same resolution resulting in far better and superior viewing angles then galaxy-S. As far as android v/s Bada, android may have some more applications but Bada is fast and stable and sufficient for most of the users and definetly will become much better with due updates. Had the samsung not stopped the production of Wave, it would have drastically decrease the sale of Galaxy-S. So samsung took wiser decision to stop Wave production instead of expensive Galaxy-S. Even in the range of Rs. 30,000, I could not found better phone then Wave. Battery life is great. Initially in first 2-3 recharges I was not satisfied but now it can last upto even 8-10 days if I use it only for few calls and messages. Video quality at 720p is trully great for a phone. I bought 16 GB sandisk class 4 card at Rs.1450 and is doing fine, no issue. Sound quality is superb.
All in all a great device and surely underpriced as compaired to other expensive garbage. So grab it if you find anywhere.
