i played hero of sparta 2 nova etc the gameplay was super smooth,and sound quality is grt..even n8 has prblms while playing hero of sparta 1 that is only a 50 mb game!!but wave never lags..
never had a prob with kies
if u r a fan boy of other brand pls come up with some truth atleast..dont spread false news..

Although Wave is a great phone, Samsung software suck big time! I'm using Wave for about 5 months and after I've come to know it inside-out, it doesn't look so nice now.
BEFORE YOU BUY SHOULD KNOW:
- although it has PowerVR SGX 540 GPU the 3D performance is lower (very few fps - ex. hero of sparta 2) and laggier (ex. raging thunder 2) than on iphone 3G(s) - samsung made a very bad 3D video driver
- although it has Wolfson chipset, the audio driver is unoptimized even for use of the system sounds, sometimes is making some cracks in the speaker when you browse the menus, the piano apps are jittering and laggy, almost 75% of gameloft games suffer from these poorly written drivers
- although it has a GPS module, it suffer from poor signal and buggy interpretation of the satellites radio signals
- KIES is a abomination, if there's an update available, you should prepare for problems, if you have more than 200 apps downloaded and connect your Wave prepare to wait for about 5 minutes to install an app, many times KIES will not find your phone or disconnect all of the sudden.
Samsung make great hardware, but the koreans don't know nothing (good) about how to develop some basic working drivers, needless to say a whole operating system ...

FRANKLY speaking,
i dont think there is MUCH difference between galaxy and wave.
1. Galaxy has bigger screen but the resolution is same as that of wave.so,there is more pixel density in wave.
So,wave is better than galaxy in this respect.
2.wave has BADA(linux based) and galaxy has Android.
i used galaxy and personally didt find anything very different or enhanced than wave.Infact ,wave is much faster and smoother than galaxy.So,people who r saying that android is much better than bada,can they tell me wats there in android????????can someone pls tell me?

kcie2u, 01 Dec 2010outlook, function and display of the phone is good..but i h... moreI am using a PC that runs 32 bit Win-XP. i never faced problems with Kies after I updated its version the very first time. The older versions or that came on CD might have got problems..just update to the latest version.I guess most of ur issues get resolved.

u can hate wave,love wave, criticize wave but cannot ignore it thats where wave is successful.all phone gurus come here and post this phone is **** compared to "bla bla" actually they have nothing to do while their laggy phone opens an application they utilize this period.

Does this phone get its updates in the US? Is the headphones(that comes with this handset) audio quality good enough?
