Guys plz note that the update is available on kies now... BUT BUT BUT. its not the one tht every1 is waitn for 1.2 It is the 1.0.2 Its just a small update where hardly any difference is seen, battery same, touch same, speed almost same, only email part has been updated and there is option of phone update in settings, which u cannot in 1.0.2, u will be able to do it in the 1.2 version which is launching in india late january or feb... Even swype which every1 is waitn for is nt availabe in this version.. It will be available in 1.2 which we will be getn very l8. U have a option to manually flash and update ur phne, bt tht option is damn risky.. If by chance some step some where goes wrng, ur phne can be dead forever.. Then even the service center wnt help u cz uve broke the warranty terms of manually performing it.. So dnt try to do it.. Nd keep waitn...
Nd plz note that 1.0.2 and 1.2 have a vast vast difference.. 1.2 will solve 100% drawbacks whereas this is solving only 20% bt for sure somethng is better than nothn

i think Bada 1.2 is now available in India, as kies is showing new firmware upgrade, but I am not able to proceed as its showing additional 16MB of memory required. Any1 facing same issue?

The samsung wave has a known issue of its loud speaker failure. In case u bought a new samsung wave phone and the speaker is not working than you better get it replaced for free. Its an hands on experience. The loud speaker on my phone died in 3 days from the date of purchase, got it replaced for free and now it works as a jem

We cant update 1.0.2 through Kies(some 16mb problem) which is available in India. Bada 1.2 is always delayed. What the hell is Samsung thinking ???? Bada is going down BIGTIME. Whereas froyo,gingerbreads r all over the place. We need bada 2.0 ASAP!!!!!!

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2010i'm not sure that 1.0.2 is 1.2 or not..today i got my wave ... more1.0.2 is miles away not 1.2,I am from NL always update with the official KIES way,And indeed i hv upgrade it yesterday and no their isnt 1.2 ,Is simpel if you dont have swipe sms function It isnt 1.2 bada and check ure Dolfin browser version too.And btw Europe FW is one step ahead of INdIA ,I notice that ,Seems that the official FW 1.2 stil hv to be release on KIES europe asswel...:(

I am from India. Firmware upgrade available through Kies. I tried to update, but it says 16MB additional system space required for update. My device memory is practically empty. Can anybody help? My OS is windows 7. Thanks in advance

i'm not sure that 1.0.2 is 1.2 or not..today i got my wave from service center and then cheak the phone...the version is 1.0.2 and the additional features is added in settings sofware update via ota...but i'm disappointed because the music plaer is not that good like before...the 5.1 is now playing with normal effect..not allowed to play with bass and rock effect...and the games like kroll and bruce lee is removed from memory card..nad those games are no more avilable in app store...

I tried to upgrade the firmware via Kies, but it still says This devices software cannot be upgraded. Bullshit.
