thanks for the info..i just followed the procedures, n got nfs shift..

this link really works, follow the procedures..i selected the 3rd method in the link n it was easy..
the only shortcoming of the process is, u hv to sacrifice a worthless game for a gud one..n u cant change the useless icon of the previous game, coz it will remain..but once u click u can play the game u installed through that icon..i just played nfs shift by clicking on the Ardefender logo..
there are many free games available...
REMEMBER ...while reading the post u ll get confused by some keywords...
so, to make it easy remember that "removable drive" is the mass storage(present in settings->connectivity->usb->mass storage)..

I am not able to connect to Samsung apps through Samsung kies. It throw error as
The Underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel
I have the latest version of kies.

[deleted post]wave rocks guys..a really high tech device..hd games and smooth os and video n gr8 sound n facebook n twitter sync with contacts,good battery life,gr8 looking,good camera gr8 video recording,gr8 hardware even much more higher priced fones dont have such features..really the first wavers r lucky to have this beauty at 17-18 k.:)

Anonymous, 19 Nov 2010hi guys, simple question for who already use the wave1; I&a... moreI think your big fingers should be fine on Wave. If it's not too convenient, you can use landscape mode. And plus, starting from JID,it has continuous input which is something like swipe and the keyboard is the best in all touch screen phones.
Or if you want bigger, go for Wave II. Wave II screen is larger but S-LCD, everything else is the same. Still fast and smooth, loud and clear and best audio and video.

OK people feel confused to search and download from other thread coz there are so many pages so i made a new thread
method invented by "barbeyn" so the credit for method goes to him
install method (example as nfs instead of AR defender):
1. Connect your WAVE to PC, run KIES Wave and install free app game ARDefender on your memory stick.
2. Disconnect and connect in "removable drive" mode, then using Total Commander go to Other - @ bada applications @ - fy7tnltk5e.
3. Delete the folder and copy mine fy7tnltk5e from the RAR archive.
4. Disconnect and using ARDefender shortcut u can now NFS Shift.
5. Play.
app modding method:
Install any app you want to replace (install on SD card)
Go to Other - bada applications - xxxxxxxx (folder where app is installed)
Download unpacked content of the game that you want to load instead of crappy app that you want to replace.
In the Bin folder there is an *.exe File.
For example if you have installed ARDefender the name of the exe will be ARDefender.exe, and you want to replace it with the Need For Speed, so you rename NFS exe s3e.exe to ARDefender.exe and replace it.
Then go to Info folder and copy appSign.sys, signerCert.sys from NFS to ARDefenders Info folder. With *.htb file do the same procedure that you have done with exe. Rename it and replace it.
Then go to Res folder or Data and delete all the files of crappy app and copy there content of the game you want to install. BUT, you have to save icon.png and splash.png, and rename the image files of NFS with the names of ARDefender. They can differ (for example ARDefender has icon named ARDefender.png and NFS has nfs_icon.png, so you should rename nfs_icon.png to ARDefender.png.
Thats all.
[UPDATED] METHOD 3: AND NOW HERE IS THE EASIEST WAY TO INSTALL/SPOOF/REPLACE ANY APPLICATION (credit goes to elgrankaos)
instructions:
select the original app "ie.which u want to install"
select the container app "ie.which is the crappy app in which you want to install your game"
Press spoof and ur done
enjoy your game

Wave Rocks, 19 Nov 2010Thanks very much mate, but what is : hsdpa speed? sor... moreHSDPA means "high-speed downlink packet access" which basically allows higher data transfer speed and capacity.its the speed in which your 3.5g or 3g works on your phone.you can find it on the wikipedia site if you want.the wave1 has an hsdpa of 7.2 and the wave2 has 3.6 which means that the wave 2 will be slower than the wave1 when using stuff like the internet o other 3g services.this is why alot of people prefer the wave1 cos its so much faster.as for bada 2.0 i hear that it will be here in march next year and hopefully it will bring abode 10 cos at the moment you cant see everything on the internet with the wave1 cos it only has abode 9.1. so i think that apart from the bigger screen i will stick to my wave1.
