[deleted post]you don't bother if ur camera has less fps for video recording,poor resolution screen,poor quality sound,hanging problemz,ugly ui,no dnse,no dnla,no VIDEO LIGHT,LESSER RAM PROCESSOR BUT WE DO BOTHER..
PROBABLY U WUD B HAPPY TO HAVE ONLY A MOBILE CASE IF THEY GIVE IT THE NAME "N8"

now i can also quote some of the reviews of n8 from ur forum..
1)In n8 sometimes touchscreen don't register touches & ui responds late after the screen has been touched.
2)There is also a serious issue with n8 camera as it can't handle moving objects or little shake properly & spoils the image quality. Even the cheap budget cameraphones can handle a shake.
3)The UI very laggy & not smooth at all
4)The N8 may have all those features but what good are they it gives you the screen freeze all the time. Hard resets every other day and crashing all the time. A pure waste hardware if you ask me
your 25k camera phone probably is not giving u a good camera also..:D

N8 is absolutely a bullshit phone whn compared to wave..
n even N8 owners know that..dats y they r laying their asses off here to vote down our wave...
i urge wavers to vote 10/10 for wave...n vote min for N8..
if they wanna bring us down thn they need to b dragged down too..

Which update Bada 1.2 or Bada 2.0 for Samsung Wave S8500 will be available & when in India ? I am using wave for almost two months. Its a great phone for sure. But we do need upgrades. Can anyone tell me when these firmware upgrades will be available through kies ?

i bought wave 6 mnths back...now my battery getting dischrged in 3 hours without multimedia use...only cls and msg.....
i took to samsung guy ...he told that my phone s circuit is damaged...the phone runs perfectly only battery problem.....so giving in repair for a week

i'm not able to watch youtube videos... its opening youtube website but when i click on a video, a msg comes "wi-fi not found. use packet data?" and when i click on "yes", it says "try again".
i'm using vodaphone.
pls help guys...

amoled vs Super AMO... more360 x 640 pixels vs 480 x 800 pixels - It's still a good resolution if you intend to use it as a phone and this resolution also provides reverse compatability for earlier appsw without needing rescaling.
nothing vs DNSe (Digital Natural Sound Engine)- A true music enthusiast doesn't care about DNSe. Ok if in N8 case I can simply say stereo widening and loudness setting which wave lacks though someone like me doesn't actually care about these stuff. A custom eq setting on the other hand is very well appreciated.
nothing vs video light(wave) power led flash !!!!!! (two times powerfull then ordinary led) - Ever heard of Xenon flash?
720p@25fps vs 720p@30fps - Don't even get me started on video quality. 720p@25 fps with almost no frame drops. In wave's case, 30fps is just the max framerate which will decrease according to the complexity of the scenes and result in stuttering of videos.
ARM 11 680 MHz processor(A 11 is one of oldest processors on market!!!!!) vs ARM Cortex A8 1GHz - It's like comparing ubuntu running on an Intel atom netbook vs a core2duo pc running vista. Specs may differ but the end performance is almost the same.
256MB RAM vs 512 Ram MEMORY - With 256mb RAM, N8 can run morethan 8 native 3rd party symbian applications smoothly while 512 mb is just useless when wave can't even run more than one 3rd party bada app at a time.
512 MB ROM vs 2 GB Rom memory - 512mb is more than necessay for an already light symbian os. It's not like you're gonna load windows xp or something.
some ordinary audio chip vs WOLFSON audio chip wm8994 ( best audio chip ever build in some phone !!!!!!!!!!!!!)-one of the most reputed experts in the acoustic domain. - Ha ha too bad wave doesn't support custom EQ. A custom EQ is a must have for a trum music enthusiast.
30 million triangles/sec vs 3d graphic chip powervr sgx 540 with score of 90 million triangles/sec...he leaves ps1, ps2 and psp behind - But still ps1, ps2 and psp are better equiped as a gaming console while the wave is neither.
nothing vs dlna(far superior technology)- Hmmm your so biased that you failed to mention about HDMI that supports 5.1ch Dolby DTS surround
nothing vs mdlne( technology from samsung television)- A phone is just a phone afterall it's not like you're gonna use it as a TV anyway.
super slow phone vs super fast phone - And how do you judge performance? Do you have a benchmark to prove your statment?
super laging phone vs super responsive phone - In your dreams. A few ms of lag is always acceptable for a true multitasking smartphone like the N8.
When you touch anything on the screen it takes at least 2 seconds to react vs super internet broswing experience
Just copy pasting some of wave's browser shortcomings
1. some times the browser will stop all featues and will throw an msg 'insufficient memory', after this it will stop zoom and opening of new web pages.even though it may be 2nd page only. it works only after reboot.
2. sometimes i see the msg insufficeny memory and to close application even though i may be running one app in the background. i am not sure what is it that requires suh an huge mem to run.
3. is there any way to save web pages as html files. i am also not able to figure out how to sav web addesses.
4. all the streaming videos are not supported and you get a msg f9 flash symbol. flsh version nt supportted. is there an update available where i would be able to play all kind of videos. i have not updated my bada sw after purchase.
5. is there some way to save unsupported files. for ex i want to dl a file with extension .mpp from my email, bada os will refuse to do so as th file is not supported.
In addition n8 has Opera mobile10 as well as Opera mini for symbian which is the fastest out there but wave has none.
The best thing for n8 is 12 mpx camera, while wave hast one of the shittiest 5mp camera inferior to even the older n series phones like n95
