I can't think of any reason for them to stop the production of such a wonderful phone.I bought it as soon as it was available in my place.IMO, considering the hardware,build quality and the software; its very cheap.Assuming its their first handset on BadaOS they tried to keep the price as low as they could.And when it became so popular and it was a success they stopped producing it and made waveII without S-Amoled and with a bigger screen to compensate with that.
And about Bada 2.0 , I think it should support the wave coz Wave and WaveII are the top end models on bada platform and has same hardware and resolution.
