the problem in detail:
I updated it to 1.2
It started to restart at random
THEN suddenly one day came to similar state as yours
I took it to samsung service centre n dey flashed it,but since den it has happened 6-7 tyms......
I EVEN REQUESTED DEM TO DOWNSTEP it to BADA 1.0
but dey said it was also unavailable,i am frustated too much
TO ALL D WAVERS DO GUIDE IF ANYONE CAN HELP,THANX

Even more funny, yesterday my s8530 wasn't charging. Thought that charger is dead. Went to a shop to get a new one, n they tried a few chargers n said that the jack is at fault. Eventually, loose battery was found to be the culprit agn.
Just give it a try, n hope for the best. Gud luck :)

My wave is not starting...when i try to start it just shows the wave logo lights on and lights off...it keeps repeating that. What should i do?

Noted one more thing. If i transfer a video by mass storage mode, it plays better with less of "screeching" sound. Not very sure tho. Could be a subjective illusion on my part.

Any feedback about Polish Bada 2.0?
I'm from... moreLoL. I focused too much on the work-in-progress state of XL6.
All I can say is, after flashing my S8500 with the official Polish FW, it's like my phone is given a second lease of life. :-) It's mostly just cosmetic changes but it's a nice change. A few kinks here and there. Hopefully these issues will be addressed in subsequent updates.

Any feedback about Polish Bada 2.0?
I'm from... moreIt's stable. Few restarts particularly when loading numerous web pages but it's really fast.
Bluetooth - can't find a way to delete paired devices.
Music player - audio quality is not that good (anymore). I can hear hisses on "f", "sh", "s" "th","z", etc. which was not present on lower bada version. Also the audio quality suffers at lower volume. It has this "hollow/boxed" effect. Something like that. And you have to dig deep in the settings for the Equalizer. Can't find any logic in that.
Messaging (sms) - work is still needed particularly when saving drafts. Multiple-recipient message doesn't create separate threads for each recipient.
No built-in image editor. It was very handy in lower versions of bada.
Color tone option in the video player is gone.
The phone opens up through the lock key only, call keys provide a better solution IMO.
Logs - you only have ALL or MISSED. Can't view Calls, Messages, etc. separately.
USB mode - can't connect my phone in mass storage mode. Am I missing something here?
Just my observation after more than two weeks using Bada 2.0 XAKL6 XEO. I understand this FW version is still in beta stage but it's already in Samsung Kies Poland. So that's official as it can get.
If you can't wait for a few more months for the official release, just flash your Wave. It's pretty stable. Do at your own risk though. You'll loose your apps/games, those which you have downloaded before without using an account.
