    [deleted post]Hello Brother,,,

its a fake news u've said about wave 2 price in India, not even a single seller is aware of clear picture about smartphone specifications, upcoming releases nd price etc..
Damn sure Wave 2 sells around 20,000 INR..

Wave 525 and Wave 533 are 2g phones which has got very very low specs than Samsung Monte (monte is a 3G with secondary cam Rs.8.5k to 9k),

Wave 525(Check gsmarena and newtechnology.co.in) model is previously known as Wave 2 before release,
And these two are extended series of Wave Bada OS(Like extended series of galaxy S siblings Galaxy 3 & 5)

The price tag of 7 to 8k suits for the above said two models only (Check in Chennai Deccan chronicle Today issue in net)...

And another Wave 575 with 3G wifi(no front cam) is an upcoming wave sibling...

How cud a 720p video @ 30fps, class 10 3G Wifi phone will come for 7-8k, think wise before telling others,,

    http://www.newtechnology.co.in/samsung-wave-533-price/

    http://www.newtechnology.co.in/samsung-wave-575-price/

Pls Don't post unclear "some seller said" here...

    Keep Waving...
    Have a nice time C U...

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2010i'm so disapointed ...how to improve camera???or not look g... moreI think that pictures with wave can be extremely great (outdoors) but also extremely bad (mainly indoors). It is important to keep the phone very still and keep pressing the button until the picture appears on the screen. I heard that the new firmware next month with bada 1.2 will greatly improve the camera quality and flash management.

Radius, 30 Oct 2010Hallo everyone. Here goes a short manual how to use Service... moreGood post Radius.
Have been using this hidden menu with my samsung phones since i had my Pixon(with different codes)to makes calls and ringtones louder.
What is good is when you upgrade the firmware with Kies, the changes are still here, no need to make it again.
Whatever you do, always write down the original value. Careful because a hard reset will not reset the changes.

Radius, 30 Oct 2010Hallo everyone. Here goes a short manual how to use Service... moreGreat post "Radius".

Thanks a lot on these step by step and useful information on volume adjustment.

I want to thank also to the original Mr Jatin for the ways how to increase wave's volume(if you want louder vol).

Wave's volume reseliency helps make the phone more popular (finalist or #5 on Magazine Ranking), one of the most wanted phone in the market and topping easily as current #1 phone in GSMArena by rating for 5 months now.

                                  Peace be with you.

Hallo everyone. Here goes a short manual how to use Service Mode for changing some volume configuration.

I have not found any risk in the procedure and it's completely reversible, though try it by your own responsibility. My advice is not to change anything if you are not shure what you are doing.

                                      Service Mode
                                      ==============

In phone dial pad enter *#197328640#
                                      A list of options appears:

                                      [1] Debug Screen
                                      [2] Version Information
                                      [3] RF Test
                                      [4] Device
                                      [5] Audio
                                      [6] Video
                                      [7] Conectivity
                                      [8] Common

Below the list there is a number pad, click 5 in order to get in the Audio menu, for example.

                                      5. Audio
                                      ----------

                                      New list of options appears:

                                      [1] CP Config
                                      [2] AP Volume Config
                                      [3] AP Codec Gain.Config
                                      [4] Add Configuration
                                      [5] AP Solution Config
                                      [6] CP Solution Config
                                      [7] Add Configuration

In number pad below click 2 in order to get in AP Volume Config menu.

                                      5.2. AP Volume Config
                                      -----------------------

                                      New list of options appears:

                                      [1] RCV Config
                                      [2] EAR Config
                                      [3] SPK Config
                                      [4] BTH Config

Again, you can use the number pad below to enter each of this submenu topics. Before proceeding onwards, let's discuss briefly what each of lines mean, because they determine the master volume of the four peripherial sound devices:
                                      - RCV stands for Receiver (frontal Earpiece, you use it mainly for making phone conversations)
                                      - EAR stands for Earphones (3.5 mm Headset, used mostly for listening music)
                                      - SPK stands for Speakerphone (side Loudspeaker, used in playing audio/video files and conference calls)
                                      - BTH stands for BlueTooth audio (devices such as BlueTooth Headsets etc.)

All of these 4 submenues have identical structure.

                                      5.2.1. RCV / 5.2.2. EAR / 5.2.3. SPK / 5.2.4. BTH Config
                                      ----------------------------------------------------------

                                      List of options:

                                      [1] MP volume
                                      [2] Keytone volume
                                      [3] Rintone volume
                                      [4] REC volume
                                      [5] FM Radio volume
                                      [6] Camera volume
                                      [7] Voice Call volume
                                      [8] VT Call volume
                                      [9] Voice Memo volume

You can use the number pad below to enter each of these final submenu options. Whichever you choose, you will see 7 lines (0...6) and corresponding volume gains in dB. At this point I can not tell what is the difference between those 7 lines, so when changing any of those submenu option I change all 7 lines identically.

For example, I was not satisfied by the Earpiece volume, coz sometimes I didn't hear people loud enough. So I've entered into 5.2.1.7. submenu. On the screen appeared 7 gain lines, and it was written that I am in READ status. To change line 0, I clicked "0" on the number pad below and status has changed to WRITE. Now it is supposed to enter the new dB gain in the bottom (white) text field, but don't use the number keypad. Instead, touch the upper border of the white text field and standard Wave keyboard will appear. Now you can easily enter the desired digits and confirm the change by pressing twice the OK button. You can enter whatever number you wish. It was said that maximum acceptable number is 100 dB, but it's not true. Anyway, I didn't risk with bigger (> 100) numbers to avoid damaging my hardware. In this manner I've changed all 7 lines to 100 dB.

Someone said that this procedure is tricky, but believe me, it's not. Just be patient, for sometimes it takes over a second for menu and gain changes to take place.

To exit Service Mode after finishing all of your changes you just have to press hardware "End Call" button.

Lastly, I'll provide you with all the default values in case something goes wrong:

5.2.1.7. RCV / Voice call volume
                                      - all 7 lines: 60 dB (I've change all of them to 100)

5.2.2.7. EAR / Voice call volume
                                      - all 7 lines: 46 dB (I've found this good enough)

5.2.3.7. SPK / Voice call volume
                                      - all 7 lines: 57 dB (I've changed all of them to 87)

It is obvious that you can do a lot of changes. Many people find it useful to up the Earphones volume, REC volume and Voice Memo volume. The choice is yours.

Sorry for the long post and bad English.
                                      Happy tunning.
                                      Regards.
