Hi wave user? May i know how about when taking a video of wave? How many megapixel use? Because my previous phone is samsung jet video taking is only 0.3MP, photo 5MP. Wave will take a video with 5MP or 0.3MP like samsung jet? pleased reply asap. im planning to buy wave or iphone4 nextweek. Thanks

      The phone is loud but you want it even louder for loudspeaker, ringtones, music player, memo player ?
      Use the admin menu, these are my settings for firmware DXJH1.
      Always write down the initial settings before changing anything. And if you dont know what you are doing, dont do it

        1. Service Mode

        You can use service mode to change many settings and to run tests. All you need to enter is *#197328640# . Please make sure that you use this menu with care.

        2. Battery mode

        Use *#0228# enter into battery mode that will supply you with battery information.

        3. Factory Format

        You can use *2767*3855# completely reset the phone. It’ll remove all files and settings including the internal memory storage. It’ll also reinstall the phone firmware. So be careful before trying this out.

        3. Sim and Network lock settings

        Using this setting you can check the status about sim lock and network lock. Use *#7465625# for this.

        4. Codes to get Firmware version information:

        SW Version, HW Version, MP, RF Cal Date, CSC Version, CSC Model Spec, FFS Version, RC2 Version – *#4986*2650468#

        SW Version and CSC Version – *#1234#

        FTA SW Version – *#1111#

        FTA HW Version – *#2222#

              hi guys, need to ask something anybody knows when will the samsung app store in the Philippines get the N.O.V.A game and Blades of Fury ? and also is there any other way to buy apps aside from using a credit card? cause the thing is im a student i dont have a credit card but i have a bank account and paypal , i wanted to buy hero of sparta game but i cant because it requires me to register a credit card i dont have one it sucks , i cant buy any cool games for s8500

                  can any1 tell me how to increase the call volume of wave?

                  am not able to hear people on other end properly when am talking directly and even wen am using earphones

                  sound is very low

                          some guys are using very very bad languages.....its a public site..dont do that....shme on u guys...u guys are always comparing with samsnug to nokia and nokia to samsung....like childish behavier..dont do that....i'm using wave but i'm not comparing my wave to others..bcz i konw wave is the best in the current market....stay safe dont do that..

                            pls help! am thinking of exchanging my sony ericsson j20 for samsung s8500 wave but my main worry is that i've seeen atleast 3 samsung phones of my friend fail after a year of usage though my friend's model is nt of a higher end. so am a bit sceptic to buy samsung though i like wave. any one out there to advise

                                      I dont know y some people says that BADA is a worst os...? I am using samsung wave last 5 months.. This mobile is really a good mobile with very good OS.. Still now i am amazing while working with this mobile.. Everything in this mobile is coooolll. Especially the screen is awsome.. Just discuss only about the features enhancements and other details of this phone not any garbage like Android..!!!
