Asfahan, 26 Oct 2010hi i am using wave from last 3 weeks so i want to share few... moretell me one good reason where Nokia is better than samsung...
I never found any problems like waht you are facing...every day i am playing Brucelee ...
I agree that Kies is shit and apps are less..
but the growth rate in app market is clear indication that they are going to handle it nice...

If this phone had a 8 MP camera also... no other phones (IPhone, Nokia N8, etc.) could have been able to beat this for sure...

Smart UnLock is a Samsung feature where u draw an alphabet on the locked screen and an corresponding application springs open without the need for pressing the unlock key.

I tried Opera Mini 5 on Wave and it's very slow and uglier than Wave's built-in browser.
Opera Mini 5:
- text is not crisp and sharp
- load slower
- no multi-touch
Dolphin Browser
- super fast
- text and images are so sharp and colorful
- multi-touch
- flash is supported but slower
WAVE SUPER AMOLED SCREEN, It's sharper than a shark's tooth, crisper than a frosty morning and you can even use it in bright light without squinting or shading it. It's wonderful for displaying high-quality photos and watching HD video content over Wi-Fi. OH i forgot the most important part, IT HASN'T GOT THE YELLOW SPOT LIKE iTrash all over it, and you can make a phone call whatever way you hold the phone.

Beautiful Screen (the best - i did compare with my iPhone 3Gs. Wave is way better))
- Video ( the best - no lags, play almost anything, sharp and crisp )
- Audio ( the best with many settings, equalizer, effect and 5.1 sound - better than any phone out there)
- Very good quality headphone included
- body and touch screen is very resistance to finger prints
- Bluetooth working well, file explorer, A2DP and headset... etc
- Wifi ok
- slim and light body
- fast internet browser
- video call working well
- alarm clock is working well
- very fast and nice touch ( max fingers enabled )
- very good camera
- can protect mesages, emails and files with password
- message scheduling
- MMS working well
- Auto reject calls, message and emails
- Fake call is very nice (hold down volume button to activate)
- screenshot ( Menu + lock buttons)
- very good battery life
- Mobile tracker option ( it will send sms to a mobile, if you lose your mobile and someone put their sim card)
- SOS sms activation
- scratch resistance screen is really working.. no need to put screen protector like other phones.
- voice recorder and fm radio are working well too
- multitasking is very good, end key kill the program, long press menu key for task manager
- DLNA works well with PS3 for pictures, musics and videos
- USB mode Kies, MP, Mass Storage, PC internet and a few more
- can install apps in sd card

the phone is a major powerhouse no lag and the display is amazing cant even compare to iphone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the sensitivity of diplay is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wave has it's built-in privacy lock and it can lock the followings:
1. messages
2. my files
3. logs
4. contacts
5. calendar
6. memo
7. task and
8. emails.
You can't see them until you open with the password. You can't see the stuffs in computer too when you connect with usb until you open them with password.
Those who are saying wave is a copy of iPhone for those the are is
CLEAR NO.
Wave is unique in its hardware and software.
IPhone is the only mobile in the entire industry that is made and assembled cheaply but sold at a high price.
Apple make nothing of their phone. They just use others technology. Perhaps Samsung makes iPhone, saying this won't be wrong. Heres a small prove:
LCD by LG.
Processor by Samsung.
Battery by Samsung.
MLCC (multi layer ceramic capacitor) by Samsung.
Varistor by Amotech a small korean company.
FPCB by Interflex another small korean company.
IPhone is entirely assembled in Foxconn that has a very bad reputation on assembling and no other mobile company assembles their except charger.
So is it clear now iFans?
No other company copies iPhone.
Honestly no one gives a damn about iPhone.
This is IPhone which copies and uses others technology.

wave supports MKV , FLV HD .. That means you can download video from Youtube HD then copy to your phone directly without converting :)
Samsung can make anything possible! Wave is just an exemple!
Video - Excellent in all aspects
Music Player - Nothing gets near it (Rock + Bass Enhancement) WOW!!! And this setting works even with Bluetooth.
Music Player: Rock & Bass Enhancement combination is the best.
You can have Rock & Wide combination for lifetime setting. Wide setting will not go back to Normal for this combination. Also this is the loudest combination.
DNSe rocks even in smartphone.
Audio, Video and Display are unbeatable...
This is the most user-friendly phone..
It has amazing graphics in Gaming.. (Much better Than iPhones)

Lol this is my dream phone,smartphone,cool camera,720p HD,1Gh proesor,3,5 mm audio jack,Divx/Xvid,all connectivity options you want,very snappy UI,Super AMOLED is gorgeous,plenty of apps to come,sleek and stylish design and perfectly sized for pockets with scratch resistant screen,1500 mA battery(I think it should do the trick).
People need to remember that the mp camera on a phone does not make the phone better. 9/10 people never print the photos of thier phones..... they upload them through the phone to Facebook/Bebo/Twitter who decompress them to 1.3mp anyway!
Perfect example of a phone with a 12.mp camera is the pixon and the Satio which didnt sell as usrs are not willing to pay the price for a phone with such a camera. Whether the phone has a 12mp or a 2mp camera it makes no difference...........other than price

Marcus, 26 Oct 2010I've been using my Wave with my old Sandisk 8GB class 4 car... morei have a class 6 16gb and it works fine for me.maybe its the make of the card or maybe unfortunatly there is something wrong with the card itself.ive read many posts here about high class cards and they dont seem to be a problem.i dont beleive that its the os thats causing the lag.
