    Gsmarena authors seem to be fast asleep n snoring. Still no news abt tizen-bada merger yet! And its no rumor! Alas guys here post more of rumors n predictions than real news.
    Come on, wave1/2 users, check out the news elsewhr. And do post here your reactions. At least, it gives us some hope that our bada will have some spur in apps/games. But aftr 2011 fake promises, i dont have any faith in samsung. But intel is kind of hope for us.
    And hd games--- asphalt5 runs on bada2 (xeh). But its too laggy, almost unplayable.

Also, if possible, could you show me the process of going back to official Bada 1.2. I tried googling but got no result. Thanks in advance. Good day. :)

            Rohit, 13 Jan 2012Hi All, i've updated to bada 2.0 but facing few issues: -C... more1.The wave has never been a heavy multi-tasker regardless of the OS. From bada 1.0 and now 2.0 it has been experiencing memory issues, so as a rule of thumb just open the applications you need and close the ones you do not need. Running heavy widgets, music player is on, the browser has loaded 3 heavy pages, a few games are running.... etc will just swamp your memory. Also it is a good thing to restart your phone may be once a day to clear up memory.
            2.About the apps just ensure you have a good internet connection--3G and Wi-Fi are blazing fast in downloading the apps for my case..

              Hi All, i've updated to bada 2.0 but facing few issues:
              -Cell restarts automatically when many apps r opened simultaneously
              -app closes itself(may be due to memory issue)
              -takes time to download apps from the app store.

              I like 2.0 but these issues r forcing me to go back to my old love 1.2. Any help would be grateful as I don't want to lose my new love. Thnks. :)

But everything else on you have stored on your SD card will work perfectly. Even recording videos to the card is perfect.
                    2.Yeah of course, I have already installed several apps from samsung apps via my phone, and there are even new ones like very great facebook and twitter apps for bada.Whats more this ROM has great wallpapers (150) and themes preloaded (even MIUI and ICS.
                    3.I have never experienced any memory issues but as you know with bada you shouldn't expect to load heavy widgets and web pages and hope things will still be smooth. Sadly the Wave is not SGII.
                    4.Camera and video are perfect. The camera now can even capture self-potraits using the front camera. Video recording is smooth and the video player is better than ever.

                    All in all, for you to get bada 2.0 and you don't want to wait for the official update which might take some time, you have to make some sacrifices like losing your current paid apps. But honestly you will not regret your decision. Your Wave will suddenly look new.

                      it is recommended that you format the sd card, though if you prefer not to, in my case my need for spped game that I have spoofed didnt work after I updated to bada 2 from 1.2 :/


                      and video recording and picture taking options are great better than ever! though I must note that bada 2.0 is quite delicate on memory cards

                      I have a class 4 transcend micro sd, I am able to take 720p videos in bada 1.2 and now whenver I record a video

                      after 20 secs of recording the video record stops and a message pops up saying "momry card does not support this kind off resolution" then abruptly stops my recording and saves it.

                      I tried using a sandisk (no indication of class whatsoever, extremely old I used this on 6233) and I was able to record in 720p without interruptions...and

                      as a plus the video of bada 2.0 has less noise in low light which is really great ^^


                      memory issues so far havent encountered any, had quite a few restarts here and there on bada 1.2 but in bada 2.0 never had any restarts whatsoever ^^

                          you said its the most stable FW till date , it was good to hear but i have certain doubts wch u might answer
                          1. i have games installed on my sd card- will this work on my wave once i have updated to bada 2.0 by the method u told
                          2. will i be able to continue download apps and games thru samsung apps on my phone as i dont use kies to download apps or convert video so i use the default samsung apps on my phone
                          3. is there any kind of memory issue
                          4. do the camera and video recording works fine
                          i knw this r many questions to answer but please do help with this

                              syed, 12 Jan 2012hw is the battery back up in thisI have had this phone for a little over a year. The only issue is the battery life.I don't use the phone very much.The battery that came with the phone had to be replaced. The new batteries, I have tried two only last one day without recharging. Most of the day it's not being used. Anybody know if there is something in the phone that can be change to prevent this battery problem?

                                  They should make an improved version of this often rather than making that galaxy trash series.Very good phone overall.2 days batt life medium use,just lower the screen brightness to 2-3,maximum is 10 for the most beautiful screen ever but last only 1 day.

In fact my phone has never re-started itself nor crashed while running this ROM, and am a heavy user,especially the bada 2.0 magic will not let you keep your phone down for the next several days.
                                    So to spoof java apps:
                                    1. Just download the .jar files.For example, if you want to install opera mini, download the opera jar file using your pc.
                                    2. Download JAM_FOR_WAVE.zip from here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1345894 -> just scroll as you read through the page you will find it attached as a file in one of the comments.
                                    3. Extract the .zip file and read the 'help' file--very straight forward, after you are done, transfer the modified jar file to your phone and install.Enjoy! Luckily for my case it is working for all versions of opera mini, nimbuzz, 2go,ebuddy and many other java apps.

                                      And man!! Was really very surprised to see - one of the stable version of Bada 2.0. Few things I love most about 2.0 are- small icons,new modified lock screen,touch focus and on-screen click button in camera,new social hub,custom opera mini...(i guess this list will go on and on). :D

                                      Was thinking of switching to Android but I might hv to postpone my plan. :)

                                      And very big thank to the developer who made this custom ROM.

                                      Others plz NOTE: Several Bada 2.0 custom ROMs r available for download but this one I found cooler than others(atleast till date).
