Play a video Pause it. press the Menu button and the side lock button will capture the screen shot and get saved it in the images ....Isn't that great....It can take screen shot of any screen...

Use sub-camera
Key in the dial pad
*#197328640#
then press 6 then 4 then press OK
From now on, sub-camera can use for capture, video record in HD
To come back main cam. do it again

yes smart unlock available..jst push the hardware unlock button for once..the screen will b illuminated..then sweep over the screen a shaded layer will b swept away n the screen will unlock..

hi wave users plz help me, i cant install kies on my pc, i try it on xp and vista both,i also download and install netframe35 from microsoft web but when i try to install kies,after extracking some error msg display.., i also try kies download from samsung web....but i cant install plz plz plz help

The real price of this phone is in rang of samsung galaxy s, maybe even expensive,because wave is almost fuly made from steel and because of power led flash.The reason why this model is so cheap is because samsung want to promote a new operating system.I have used all operating system and i must say that bada is the fastest,the most stabile operating system ever made !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bada don't lag at all,bada don't have bugs,bada's speed is out of this world.Touch response of this phone is unreal.Remember that bada is several mounths old.I can only imagine how fast and stabile will be bada 2.0 or 3.0.
android,io4 and poor symbian don't have any chance against bada.There are over 2000 aplications and the number grow every day.Bada ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!

-Navigation is maps needed instald on the sd-card what u get right out of the box,If you dont have U have to downloud Route66 to save it on ure sd card

-Youtube vids gets the ultimit quality by using wifi at your home or hotspot,
when using 3g network u have to browse with dolfin in to the youtube mobilesite of the selected video u wanto see,Tap on the title! NOT the thumpnail!Then it wil link you to the infopage of the video and you wil be able to chuse to PLay between NORMAL/Hi qualiety,ofcorse pick on HI Q.Then ure utube vids wil be a bit better,Ofcorse not that superb like wifi.
And u just hv to do this once and it wil remember ure view settings

i'm using this phone almost 4months....its the worlds best phone in this prise range.....but now this phone not avilable in all states.....why samsung stop producing wave dont know....its the sorry moment to me..

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2010What is the main reason for withdrawal of this successful m... morethe withdrawl and the screen shortage are both similar rumors.there is no screen shortage as samsung have 2 new phones announced(i500 with 4.0 inch and galaxy-k with 3.7 inch super amoled).the withdrawl as far as i can see is country based as here in spain and other places they are still announcing and selling the s8500.my guess is that they have downgraded the s8500 production to leave less s8500 in the market to open a gap to sell the s8530.that way they make more money.alot of people will still choose the wave2 from the success of the wave1 and the bigger screen.i guess it all comes down to marketing and making money.

What is the main reason for withdrawal of this successful model within 7 months? Display shortage is absolute rumor. I think overheating, complicated connectivity and short battery life is the main culprit. That's why Samsung opt for Wave II.
