bada is young operating system, but so powerful and fast.Bada has potential to be the best operating system.When samsung wave was tested on gsm arena, there was about 100 application, but every day number of applications are increasing.Now you can find over thousand free and over thousand which you have do paid.You can install java application as well.For about year, number of application will be over 10000.

hi guys i've a question that i've visited samsungapps.com and it shows 1296 applications for wavw s8500..

but i've read some comments saying that there are a few applications available for this phone even if you read wave review there is written under MAIN DISADVANTAGES that "Limited number of available applications"

Super amoled is the best screen for mobile phones ever made.s lcd look like piece of garbage compare to samoled.it is todays most advanced screen.people throwing their phones when they see samoled

Help!!!, 11 Oct 2010Im going to buy this phone tomorrow ... any final advice ? ... moreIf your budget is high then you should wait for upcoming Android devices to come. Wave is okay too, but to wait for Wave 2 is meaningless. Here you go,
1- You should charge your phone for 6-8 hours at first charge.
2 - NO.
3- 'bada' 1.2 is not officially out yet, I'd suggest you to wait till it get released and available via Kies, till then you should wait.
4- Make sure after getting the phone that 'AP UART' mode is enabled. otherwise you will get that rubbish 1 day battery back up.

battery of samsung wave and his save mode(*#8740# ap uart) are the best.my battery can manage three days without problems.You should update your phone to bada 1.2(extemly fast i stabile)

i bought the phone 2 weeks back and already experiencing so many problems that had to give it to samsung customer care and was told that it has software problem and hence battery drains fast altho mostly on standby and gets hot quickly and also incoming call volume is low. when i tried trouble shooting before that as per the samsung website i was informed the receiver is kaput. warning to future buyers....buy at your own risk. apparently the reason wave has not filled the market yet is due to the inherent technical faults which is making the phone battery drain super fast and makes it get hot. I was promised a new wave by the service centre guys but the customer service is pathetic...after spending 18000 bucks this wasn't expected at all....very disappointed to say the least.

Hey guys any one who uses this mobile, can you tell that is it possible to edit office documents such .xls, .docs, .pdf, .ppt etc.?if yes does it comes preloaded with handset our we have to purchase the licensed copy? samsung wave is the best mobile on earth sorry, beyond that if any other universe exists because i always unsatisfied with a mobile bought, i use to attract to some other thing in other new model when ever it is released and use to sell my mobile in an early stage.but now by using wave upto now every body looks my mobile screen which dominates in all aspects.i am loving it not because of screen in all aspects.i think one cannot find a beauty like this at present. iam lucky to grab one.even there are many shop keepers offering me a good price to sell.but i dont want to sell,because if i sell this it is hard for me to find another samsung wave.

i'm not very much sure with this but.. samsung wave differ depending on the region.? ex. in the philippines the wave comes in 8 or 16 gb (internal), the camera is vga instead of cmos? someone told me about this and i hope you can correct me if i'm wrong. thanks.
