(n8 has a greater camera but you can not conclude that it is the best handset. . and it is better than wave. . . you don't need a 12 mp camera. . camera is used for taking special moments. . you do not need a 12mp camera just to take photos of yours. . if you are ugly can the camera change your appearance?!!LOL DUH!!your still an ugly person..shame on you..and now you have the 12mp n8 what will you do next? just take and take pictures?well i'm sure you will be disappointed not it's because the camera is bad but it is because of that you face is really bad..^^)

guys just got my samsung wave...... and i must share its an amaizing looking phone its like watching a mini hd tv.... i m so very excited. thanx all for ur comments and help... by the way got it for Rs 17500... the bugger did'nt agree for even a single rupee less.... anyways... its a great looking phone and feels very good indeed

I got a Samsung Wave update today. Post that I had to click Accept for a User agreement.
I thought this was the release of the paid app store in India, but nopes. There is no paid apps store yet.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2010n8 has a greater camera but you can not conclude that it is... moreThis is my take on cameras. Please do note that a phone with a camera will not replace your digital camera, Home theatre, DVD player and laptop / desktop. It is a phone. Please treat it as such.
Having said that I donot want to express any sort of authority on the subject of cameras here, just my opinions based on my long experience of using cell phones with cameras.
The photos clicked with a cell phone camera are almost always lower in detail, have a bit of color saturation and many a times un acceptable noise limits. Lacking an optical zoom, in almost all cell phone cameras, the moment you zoom, the photo goes for a toss or the quality degartes substantially.
The higher the MP of a camera, the better is the photograph. But at the most a 12 MP camera like in N 8, will replace some bits of a 5 MP Digicam. But for a photo buff, it will rarely be enough.
Generally, if you are not an photo aficianado, then a 5 MP or 8 MP camera suffices. For holiday trips and other such occasions, you will but obviously carry a Digicam / camcorder.

I am in a region where there is no 3G or WiFi.so i am mostly depended on EDGE for browsing.which is better class-12 or class-33.my network provides upto 1mbps of download speed.

Frnds....Cn anybdy gv me more specification about ram,,,video formates it cn play...Multitasking,net use,..Coz Today i go to mobile shop most of people said me dnt go 4 wave u wil fed up within 2 mnths and thn i'l thnk that it wud b better if i had bought x6.....Pl solve my pblm

The phone is ok, however to give it the highest ranking is absurd. Secondly, any corporate person who is used to syncing your outlook etc calendar with this phone, forget it now. Seach the net on "Kies" (Samsung software for this phone) and you will find out that nothing works. If you dont attend meetings, need no reminders etc. it's a good phone, but stay far away from it if you are used having smart phones and used them as PA's, this will not do it!!!!!!!!!!
