Now My wave is absolutely working fine...
I love the Wave... specially Allshare feature..But one thing i should tell is its browsing files from first when i click back button on the player its not going back to the previous folder...
Hope samsung will notice this...!!

Getting Position message gone and it showed my position when i come out of the room...!! it showed me i am viewing from 18m.

Guys when i open Navigation app its keep on showing message like "Getting position..." what is the problem with my wave..??

I had the same problem, I emailed route 66 and did not get any feedback from them yet. Please help us if someone knows how to fix this. I bought my phone in China. And there is a Chinese Nev system (Samsung contracted, I think) installed on that phone.
route 66 sync can see my phone, but always ask me to use the Nev system once. But I'm sure it's not the case. What should we do???

hi guys... i didnt knew using route 66 sunc will be that difficult... i have downloaded the 152 mb file on my laptop..
i connected my wave thru mass storage mode usb...
it opens a globe..
then i clicked on create account... afetr filling the entire form i clicked next...
it gave an error "use the navigation software atleast once" i m facing this problem since many days...
unfortunatelu none of the previous posts have a solution to this thing...
hope someone will come up with a solution for me.
though i have started using gps on my phone...
it is detecting my location pretty well when i m outdoors....
but i m not able to download the maps as recommended by the experts of the forum..
correct me if i m wrng...

HI guyz. I was plannin to buy the samsung wave.. Then i came across the latest windows ph 7 that samsung is going to launch. Should i look forward to it? I dont mind waiting for it if its in the same price bracket. I cannot stretch my budget further.

Hey frnds! Here goes a sincere question. In the MY FILES and GAMES folder, there comes the option of PROTECTION on the right hand corner. How it protects ur files? I mean is it also some sort of CRYPTO or what? Nd how to make use of it?

su, 14 Sep 2010hey guys i'm using this phone from a week its really awesom... moreYeah i know ur pain here. It was really hard for me transfer my contacts. If u have full office outlook u can do it tru Kies. U must close all ur running apps and widgets to connect to pc. I know thts weird. If u cnt do this, just get all your contacts into memory card in an allocated folder. Then open the folder in fone and press each contact and save. The contact file must be a vcf. Or u can try sending each contact tru bluetooth. I hope this helps. Cheers.

I opened Google Maps, fro... moreSimple...the operating system of WAVE do not have a self start for its GPS sensor.That is why everything connected with GPS is sleeping in WAVE.So you have to kick start the sensor....or wait for a fix from Samsung.For kick starting use the application named "GPS status",which is available on free of cost in Samsung application store.

A question to all wave users in this forum who live in India. I live in Delhi & whichever shop I go they tell me that wave is out of stock & is being blackmarketed for Rs.19000. A couple of store owners even told me that samsung have stopped manufacturing the wave for India. Is it really true ?
I'm thinking about buying this phone & this rumor is extremely worrying bcz I dont want to buy a phone which is being abandoned by Samsung so early.

Thats why u see its one of the highest rated fone currently. the bada actually is not so bad really. Coming from iphone it is a bit dissapointing. Thats because they dnt have enuf apps yet and its slowly picking up. But tht dsnt mean the apps r useless. The apps are quiet good quality. If u are an app freak then i wld say go for a iphone or an android fone. But i got a solution for tht. I have this fone and an ipod touch. I get double battery life, best of both worlds and have everything. And i can use my wave as a wifi hotspot for my ipod touch. How awsome is that? Actaully i cnt get enuf with this fone. As i said just before the music player and its audio quality is incredible. And the headfones, at least they r not falling of my ears and sound better then iphone ones. The video player is another awsome feature. 5.1 channel, adjust brightness and contrast and that fantastic s-amoled makes watching movies just pure fun on this baby. Also checked out the radio. It was perfect (radio on a smart fone). And u can actually record radio right into ur memory card. Pfftttttt-iphone????? LOL..Check my previous posts on this subject. Cheers.

Hey pple. I just couldnt help myself but leave a comment here. Right now im listening to "love the way you lie" with my headfones on Samsung Wave. OMG. It just killed iphone on the quality of the audio and the features. Awsome sound, better quality headfones, and with an answer call. The music player has many sound options, so much fun. And one last thing, the visualisers just some desert on this beauty. I am still listening to the same song. LOL. This fone rocks mate. Just loving it each day i use it. Cheers.
