phones fan, 14 Sep 2010the flash 10 is a software not a hardware but it is difficu... morethanks that is what I meant to say that with the current Bada there is no way you can upgrade it to 10 version, so I guess this would never happen on WAVE, as its platform related rather than just a simple upgrade.
    cheers

One possible improvement for Route 66 is the ability to search for addresses from the contact book itself.

Right now, we are forced to enter them manually.

Route 66 on Symbian works that way.

I know these are new days for bada, but hope to see such minor hiccups out of the way soon.

I have a somewhat silly question. I opened Google Maps, from the widget, on Wifi (not GPRS / EDGE) and without GPS in ON mode.

There is a button next to the menu button, on google maps, that is supposed to display my current location.

When I clicked on it, it displayed a message "Your current location is unavailable"

Any idea why this is so. Is it because, GPS was OFF. I was under the impression, after reading posts here that google maps could show your location based on cellular tower info and not necessarily GPS.

Was it because I used WiFi and no GPRS / EDGE.

My cell was in a strong cellular covergae area all the time and I had 5 bars of cellular signal strength.

Any help / answers would be appreciated.

There is an apps called "Notepad" available at Samsung Apps Store. With this user will be able to write / create .txt file on WAVE.

                                Thanks.

guys, my firmware version is S8500DXJF2/S8500DOLBJF1.
I'm planning to update it to S8500DXJH1/S8500DOLBJG2

do i have to upgrade it? does S8500DXJH1/S8500DOLBJG2 have bugs? or it fixes the bugs from S8500DXJF2/S8500DOLBJF1?

                                  please help. I'm confuse.

Yeah.......there are now 14M users downloaded Bada Apps from Samsung Apps Store.

Samsung also claimed that "Rapid expansion of the store was achieved with the launch of Wave that launched in June 2010. Wave users downloaded more than 14 million bada apps since its launch from Samsung Apps."

Such a great news. With the launch of the Samsung WAVE 723, there will be a huge increasing of Apps, market and demand.

                                    Thanks.
