I contacted samsung tech. support and it is not possible to directly store smss on the memory card.
just a piece of info. that differes with me so I liked to share it ,maybe it matters to someone else.

when android was launched , i also though like u thta whta the hell is this , very bad , no apps.. but win mobile and symbian are good ,. so i went for those..
lol and the world knew after 1yr what is android and is way better than winmo or symbian lol.....
and is just at par to ios....

and thats bullshit. it plays all kinds of files except flv..
it also plays .mkv that most smartphones cant afford..

I'm not here comparing symbian with bada. Everyone knows symbian lags and performs below par to all modern mobile OS. Since you might have watched the full video and since you are a wave user i just want you to confirm whether all the shortcomings discussed about the bada os is true or not. I do hope the situations have changed with new updates and all.

if u want to do lots of things on ur mobile..install lots of applications then go for an android smartphone n if ur need is basic i.e.jst listning music,watching video,taking pictures by ur phone then go for wave..its best in dat department widout troubling ur pocket much..bt if u want a phone which have all d things u want wid a smartphone then jst take buy an android phone widout any confusion

Indian Waver, 11 Sep 2010Some time back, an user called Egyptian on da Wave had quit... moreGuys guys... Until then I'll keep my fingers crossed too... If wave gets all these mentioned apps then ppl like me can ditch symbian and go for wave but until then we will just end up having a powerful phone with limited functionality. I do check out this forum reguarly for any updates as I always have one leg on wave and another on N8. Nothing else seems to impress me byfar.

It offers everything one needs but cannot be said taht it does everything perfectly. Bada has a good UI and a lot of eyecandy stuff. I like that too but the restrictions and the lack of basic apps is kind of a let down for me.
Just watch this video about why Bada is not a recommended smartphone OS.

This is fact before arguing any further i advice you all to take a look at this video and then deny the facts.
Once again I love Wave for it's design and features in an affordable package but Bada is another story altogether.

and about torrent downl... moreToo bad you can't carry your Core2duo PC on your pocket. I too have one with 2Mbps net but it's mobility and portability that counts. And I do have push amil setup on my phone so that I get the mails as soon as it is sent by the email servr. And for torrent, I guess it might be fancy for some ppl like you and I don't use it that often but it's a relief anyway to have something than nothing.
At this point, Wave still wins on hardware but Bada still has a lot of catching up to do.

Indian Waver, 11 Sep 2010Well, I have used an iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 and if you ask... moreI want both of those mate. :) I'd be doomed if I have to use Itunes for everything I want to do with my phone (which is not much anyway). I had a hard time even with my iPod in the beginning when I was new to itunes and I ended up clearing all of my songs database from it everytime I needed to transfer a song. :)
I am not big on Mac anyway and I am sure you know how well every piece of apple software plays with windows. :)
