posting the problem again...
not able to use ema... moreok.. gmail setup in Wave has a trick. 2 types. the first one is gmail with push option for socialhub users and normal imap gmail. i can't use socialhub, so the following is for normal imap gmail only.
1. log into web gmail and make sure imap server setting is enabled in the option.
2. set up gmail account in wave.
3. initially, wave only downloads new mails and with subject only. if you don't have any new mails you wouldn't get any mail downloaded. you can download text body or whole message as well by going to my accounts -->your gmail --> click it and you will see all the setting. go down all the way and change retrieving option from subject only to either text body or whole message.
4. if you want to download old mails , then you change imap4 incoming mail to all. wave will download all emails but according to download limit setting. wave will download default 50 emails each time it sync according to your sync interval. one bug there is all the downloaded old email will be retrieved as unread emails which is quite annoying. and another annoying thing is when you change imap4 incoming mail option to all, retrieving option will change to subject only by default and you will have to change it to text only or whole message again.
rather than above annoying things, it is working ok. oh, one more annoying thing, you can only put only one line signature in wave..

hi guys,
posting the problem again...
not able to use email in my wave.
i selected the gmail account in the email option
and entered my email account and password and left
other options in their default state.
PLS HELP GUYS!!!

Tap on it and u wil see the original format,And dont use facebook or twitter icon from Wave those are customise and no option to zoom .Otherwise ask around

Yes i can replace Parlingo with UTalk, and its very good.
This is on how to do that from the Samsungwave firmware forum
you know how to use STune? connect to your phone with it and and browse to directory AppEx/User/Java/Hidden Games/Parlingo. now copy Palringo.jar and Palringo.jad from the archive to that directory, the other 2 images are not important...
then start im and see that palringo will not be anymore. uchat has more im options, palringo has only aim and gtalk

gunzling, 07 Sep 2010hey friends... i hav been listening to lots of comments... ... morewave will cost around 17000 rs..wave is betta ..i wrk for a telecom co. hucthison 3...and we sell dis fone aswell the vivaz..vivaz is ggod for camera bt has a resistive screen and wave has capicitive wich is mre betta to operate...and processor is really good...my colleague uses it..its amazing..hpe did helps..cheers...
