I used the phone for a year with out any problem. But recently phone was fallen on to the carper from my lap while i was siting on the bed(above 1 and 1/2 ft). then after it didn't work.After the inspection technicians told to replace the touch screen and install the F/W.

Try the app called (FARM FRENZY 2)wavesters its free ,the game is interesting ,use Wi-Fi to download.

using this baby over a year. it's really good strong device. it's harware is great. still simply can't let it go! but the lackings support of rich softwares, skype, flash, browser, firmware makes the OS & device go down day by day even more....

Please tell me how to use GPS.. i m unable to .. it always shows me a australian map and location as it is a an australian version of BADA.. and i m in india...appreciate the help

i hv wave s 8500 frm 1 year, recently updated it to bada 1.2 thru kies,firmware was ddkh2 but d phone started givin troubles like battery started crashing so soon.....n phone kept restarting itself
i took it to service centre.......n asked dem to put in bada 1.2 n dey gave me ddkf2 firmware afta reflashing........but d problm of battery crashin n restartinv is still persisting n i m fed up of it....
pls help immediately.....ill b obliged....thnx

if you have all this apps you will never ever regret having bada os for you
i bet on it
i know some listed above are paid apps but are worth paying it

I had this awesome phone from the past 1 n half yrs.. Its a true masterpiece as a phone and its much more than that as well. But the sad part is, i lost it about a month back and worst one is, i had no insurance or mob tracking installed on it. So, please who ever is buying the gem, make sure it is insured and also make sure that you download or get a mobile tracker software into it....
This is a true suggestion that i can give as i have lost one of the most beautiful phones and suffering.... i had 16GB of data, about 500 contacts and may be 2000 msg's.. i have taken all the necessary actions trying to get it back. i found nothing.
please guys and gals, make sure to take a timely back up of ur data like once in 15 days o a month and keep ur phone upgraded by Kies.. that is the best way to keep your phone on the top of others. it will take a lot of time. i have let the phone coupled with the system for almost 2 n half hrs at times. but the wait is worth. you will feel the change when you unplug the phone.
Kies is really easy to use and you can exchange data very easily compared to any other phone based back up soft ware as this treats the phone memory and the memory of the card in it as data devices "on option". you can simply copy paste anything like we do with our pen drives.
let me tell you the best part, it comes with the 5MP camera as everyone here knows.. and the quality is so very excellent that you will never want to buy a digital camera later. You can make movies, watch a 3hr movie when the battery is least.
So, enjoy the phone you have, push it to the limit to see its beauty...
And on a personal note, if anyone here knows how to track a mobile with just the IMEI no, or knows someone who might help me in this regard, please reply...

wonder if Wave-1 will get NFC. think it should cause the tech is in it & if nokia's C7 can get then why couldn't it? C7 spec isn't the same like Wave-1 & nokia's 701. but still it got!...

I upgraded to Bada OS 1.2 through Kies.
Download the latest "Kies" software from "www.samsungapps.com" and install to your computer. Then connect your Wave to it and do your firmware upgrade.
