I dont this is a problem with the device. This should be a problem with App. For confirming that the device is with the problem, try playing some other game for 15 mins, you will come to know.

because yesterday i have upgraded my phone formware without backing up anything and nothing got deleted.

Hey Wave users am experiencing a weird issues with my Wave.I bought it last sunday. I have installed apps from samsung apps site. One of the apps was the bruce lee game. When i started playing, the phone suddenly restarted, and every time am using that app some or other problems occuring. Will it get solved when i update firmware ? or is that a problem in app ? or is that when we play games for 15 min the problem occurs ?

Indeed, modifying the registry is 1 of the meth... moreYeah but it's not that complicated. If you wanna know the Product Code of your Wave just see the BOX, the product code is written there. Like mine is written as- GT-S8500HKAINU. And I am sure a code written on the phone box can't be wrong.
BTW- Kies India have a new update now.

First i'm planning to buy this lovely phone this weekend..
but i have some question to ask all you guys from this forum.. Does Wave have buit-in Eng-Eng dictionary? if not can we find it? and How many RAM does Wave got?
512? or 256? so far we only know about the CPU...1GHz..

Hi,
I am from India.
I am using it from past 45 days.
First I had a Ebony Grey Wave for 7 which had a strange issue. When the phone kept in standby for more than 5 min, the speaker was not working
So after a long hustle with the Service centre I got the Metallic Black wave as replacement.
As per my experience on wave, its a very good smart phone and unbeatable in this price range.
Very Good :
Music, Display, touch interface, Build quality, Looks.
video Recording is one of the best in any phone.
Regarding Camera, the photos taken look very beautiful in the phone display.
Not So Good:
GPS, Web Browser, Bundled Headset, less SMS memory (Since there is 500MB kept for mails, SMS storage could have been more)
Battery - It consumes only 2% in 8 hours of standby but drains fast when you keep on touching the display, like sending 20 texts and receiving another 20 it consumes 15% of battery, almost 10% for 50 min music on headphones volume at 5. So if used moderately it will not last for 2 days.
And the best part is I am very happy to have this phone.

I am tryin to upgarde firmware using kies..it says downloading the binary files... after the download is complete ..it says upgrading in progress ...and after that it says "an unknown error caused the upgrade to fail". I tried for three times and it gives the same error. What should I do???
I use Windows Vista, and kies latest version Kies_1.5.1.10074_2 .
