Please someone reply, i need to know the answer to my last question, has anyone of you encountered an option wherein you can change the proxy serv add, ip address, etc.

Sorry for my not so immediate replies, as i have troubles speaking in english, and it could take me some time to think what proper words to say. And besides, internet(gprs) is only 5-10kbps in my isolated place. Really slow, it's raining outside :S

I checked the specs and i noticed it support java too. Well i guess a modified opera mini is not a problem. But will i able to use different proxy server address to this phone, i mean, is that option available?

Indian Waver, 30 Aug 2010Well, To answer your questions A user udy has already ex... moreYes, it's free internet i'm talking about. I'm actually posting this using my modified opera mini 5, no data charge. There are free wifi spots i know, but i don't like travelling to malls just so i could connect to the internet. I prefer doing it at the comfort of my house.

Yes it is, i just don't like mentioning that because this forum is for the wave. And i don't like any form of misunderstanding from over sensitive people. I'm just a one confused customer.

A user udy has already explained the nuances of internal storage in a few posts before this. And I see that you have also acknowledged it. So no point in going over it again.

No, not all wavers are experiences bad battery life. Albeit some are. I believe that may be the case with any phone.

Free internet - Well, I never thought there was any free lunch, but just to be a little more lucid - do you mean you can connect to free WiFi spots using your current phone, just by making some changes in the setting. If yes, then you can do even better on this phone. No need to change settings, it just catched on by itself.

Apps store is improving day by day. And the Bada developers challenge ends on 31st of August 2010. So expect more apps

Just out of curiosity, is your first preference Nokia N8

wave is my second choice, if my 1st choice will get any pricier when its release and if ever it'll got a lot of bad reviews, i will buy wave immediately. But there are things i would like to know, what is user storage and system storage? Does it mean that it can only store 1.5 GB of applications? And the remaining memory is the phone memory which can be used to store images, videos and mp3s? Or the other way around? I'm just curious because i don't like any form of limit. Even though it's enough, it could make me a bit uncomfortable inside. If you know what i mean.

And what about the battery life? I hope not all wavers here are experiencing battery drain even without any use. I'm used to my phone lasting for a day but i'm able to do a lot with it. Draining without any use is a turn off. But the samoled is a big big turn on though XD.

Any of the wavers here know how to get free internet? With my current phone i'm able to connect to the internet free of charge just by changing some connection settings and modifying some java applications. Wifi spots are 20 mins of transportation away from my house, i don't have a wifi on my house either. So i have to rely on broadband internet. Any of you know how? Especially my fellow filipinos.

Bada OS is new to me. So does in the smartphone market. Any improvements on the availability of third party applications from the day of its release? Will wave be able to run Android?

But as far as being a multimedia device is concerned, i believe this phone has all i need. I watched some videos and i was really impressed. Wave is so damn fast. And not boring at all. Video playback, transition effects, icons, animations, vibrant colors. I'm wondering how will it look when viewed live. Do it really feel like the display is floating out of the screen? I'm excited to have this device. But i'm still waiting for my first choice, in which all of the things mentioned above is possible. And with the OS i have grown used to.

The rest two partitions are reserved for your Bada apps (1GB) and messaging (550MB).

Gags, 30 Aug 2010hi guys, finaly bought this phone yesterday.... must say ... moreRight , it is 2GB internal Memory but it is divided into 3 sections
                                      - Multimedia messages and Emails about 520MB
                                      - Your Files (Music, Video ..etc) about 420MB
                                      - Java Apps,Bada Apps & Widgets about 1GB (I think that 300MB are taken already .. and 600MB are available)

But it is important to mention that the SD card offers you more options in application installation, backup emails and Messages, and specially for placing music and video files

personally, this problem does not annoy me much!!
