[deleted post]there is no need to remove memory card to perform reset which is available in settings menu.it only resets settings to factory default.

Hi friends..i have some problem about this phone..for the first day i used this fone the battry works very good..at least works on 2 day and more until one week..but now after 2 week my battry not powerful anymore..i just can used half a day..but i only used for sms,internet and games just for 30 mins..i need a help how can i solve this??i go to samsung center for new update sofware but they say there are no new FW yet for this fone..i lived in malaysia..plz guys guide me how to solve this problem..thanks.

Must correct my post. After upgrading to DXJH1, the overexposure of picture with flash is NOT corrected. Pictures are still overexposed because the flash is too strong and cannot be reduced. So back to my solution: changing ISO settings to ISO 50, works well.

Hello,
I've been reading through all the posts about conditioning my Wave's battery and I wanted to ask for clarification about some thing.
Are you guys with 3-5 days worth of charge completely discharging the batter to 0% (until it powers off) then charging it to 100%.
Once it is 100% you unplug the charger and turn the phone on again?
I thought that fully draining this type of battery to 0% could be harmful.
My battery lasts about 1.5 days of moderate usage and I have been draining it to 5-9% charging to full then unplugging it within an hour of it getting to 100% again. I always turn the phone off before I charge it. When the phone is fully charged I turn it back on. I have repeated this 5 times by now.
Do you have any suggestions about my battery life? My phone is usually locked. I have wifi off and packet data off. My brightness is at 1 and I have turned off the positioning options completely.
p.s. I have no wigets running (except the birthday wiget occasionally and only 3 homescreens).
p.s.s. my firmware is 1006151358LISUGJF5

I have used nearly five phones but found some trouble in all the models.. i got SAMSUNG WAVE a month ago and found everything good. Super AMOLED display, Good camera with thunder like flash, Astonishing processing speed, Games with superb graphics, Best user interface, Long lasting battery, Amazing browser... lot to say about my.. I got a crisp name for WAVE.. Its "Mr. Perfect".. WAVE rocks... Better than SAMSUNG GALAXY..

As many ... moreOne more thing - feature for feature Wave beats Bold hands down, except for email security.
So unless you send and receive very confidential mail, either officially or personally, you could consider Wave with out any much ado.
Infact European union has standarddized on iPhone and HTC phones for their employees, not Blackberry. Well, Wave was not around when the took this decision. :-)

As many of us would have said in earlier posts, it boils down to personal preferences. All the parameters that you have mentioned are thing that both Bold and Waver will satisfy. Infact almost any smart phone will satisfy them.
I use a Blackberry bold 9000 for offical pursposes and now a Wave for personal use. Both satisfy their own requirements.
Bold is a bit bulky, and it once had its surface wearing off. I had to get it changed. But the device performed flawlessly and under adverse conditions - High humidity, extreme cold. And where ever there was GPRS / EDGE, mail mails synced. Yes, camera was bad by Wave's standard as was browsing.
Wave customizability and build is what I liked. I am not much into socal networking, so haven't checked out SNS on Wave though. Games are goodon wave too.
