CP UART is allowing the CPU to run with no "limitations" so to say, This enables highspeed internet, Hi definition video playing Hi Resolution screens, quality video recording, quality picture taking. How so the information under this setting is sent and processed with pin point accuracy using the full power of the CPU, Just like a computer CPU works on a good motherboard, with decent RAM etc. Yes this mode will ran the battery down quicker.
AP UART, slows down the CPU and will not allow to ran at full speed. What is affected in this mode. You will not be able to watch hi def videos, internet speed even over WiFi will be slower and downloading apps via handset will also be slower. Pic & Video Quality will be reduced slightly in this mode and may even affect recording in high def(have not tested). Screen will be a bit more dull than normal due the reduce processing power. The available memory is reduces which means you will not be able to multi task with many apps and widgets open as you can when CP is enabled. Yes this mode will save battery power but this is at a cost of performance of the handset as the CPU has reduced processing power.
This all comes down to what you want/need from your phone, all handsets are shipped with CP to allow for true performance of the phone. If you don't mind a little bit of reduce performance than feel free to switch the mode and save a bit of power.
Please before posting tips like this supply a bit of background info for members to make an informed decision .

Hi All,
I m facing a strange probs...
I m from India... and have set time as GMT +5:30
When i check my call logs it shows me the correct time.
i.e. if i call on 8:30....its shows me time in call log as 8:30.
But wen i got in contacts as see the history..
it shows 3:30, means it showing me time as in GMT +0
Does anybody having the same experience...
I have already upgraded my firmware....
Hope to get a response...!!

after using for more than a month had superb experience with it other than not connected thro kies. when will the problem solved?

Help needed, 26 Aug 2010Hi every1...i tried changing my FW from ZCJH1 to DDJH1...i ... moreyou can only update a firmware with ZC letters, you can't update firmwares with letters like DD or XX since they'r from different regions and bootfiles do not match ,at least for now

i can't upgrade my firmware thru kies. after the download completes it gives an error while upgrading. i tried by removing the memory card, by deactivating the anti-virus, but the same prblm persists. anybody has a solution??

He he.. still confused about getting this mobile. ??
Oh Poor souls.. wat i can tell is just close your ears and stop searching about other mobiles. blindly go and buy this wonderful piece of technology.
Since Samsung wants to make Bada for masses they have kept the price of WAVE very low. You can never find a mobile with this features anywhre in near future.
Bada lacks apps ??
Yeah. But not much. just go thro the samsung app store. you will find some stunning 3D games and some useful utilities for free.
And if u r willing to pay for apps, you will find games which will give u psp like experience.
by the end of september u will have apps in thousands.
Great Music player + PSP + Video player + Decent Camera = ""SAMSUNG WAVE""
Dont forget the 1 ghz processor and 512 MB rAM. None of the mobiles nearer and even higher mobiles have this config.
