Hi, i wish to buy a magnetic flip case for my wave, are there any probs with it like affecting the magnetometer etc.

hi guys i m really confused, which phone i baught among windows, bada, symbian and android.my basic need is watching movie, listening music web browsing(specially orkut, gmail, fb and chatting using nimbuzz and fring) gaming and also require good sound throuh loudspeaker.but display quality must be exellent i.e. Super AMOLED or AMOLED.big screen size is also needed for that things.my budget is max. 22k INR.plz if u can,suggest me good one,thanks in advance

This is the error I am getting when I try to update Samsung Apps on my Wave. Any idea guys how to solve it?

OMG! i accidentally dropped my precious wave on a 5 feet down on d floor. It happened as i walked inside d mall. Gush! all eyes were looking at me coz of d terrible stumbled impact.
luckily, my wave still works great with tiny scratches. its my 1st time to comment like this because i want to thank samsung for d durability of this phone. to all wave owners out there please be careful with ur phone im just lucky that my phone was not broken.
a little advice if in case ur phone might accidentally fallen. Remove immediately the battery and rest it for a while (15-30 mins). it works fine after all. But in severe cases like broken screen or water drowned etc. bring it to ur nearest samsung care center. Well, that's all.. take care wavers. Peace ;)

i hv charge my phone switch off..charging full unpulg the charger.then i switch on my cell nd check batteery its show 98%..help meee

Whats the latest FW available for Wave in India?
Also does we need to format the Wave for FW upgrade like Nokia or is it any different?
I am loving the NFS shift on Wave, nice game.
Also can i have a music player widget as i wish to operate the music player from main screen itself.

There was no hanging or restarts after I'd updated the firmware, so I think samsung fixed it. They never release changelogs. The phone itself is great!

The best phone ever.I have used Nokia and Sony Ericsson smart phones but this one is far far better than those. Congrates Samsun..

Any help
my Samsung Apps icon stopped workin after i did the update when i started it for the first time..and now i deleted it cuz when i launch it says > "fatal error..delete yes or cancel" how can i get it back?!! :s

There are many clock widget if you dont like the preinstalled 1 such as HTC flip clock. Some short cut widgets also can be found at the website. Just have a visit there then you know how to customise ur wave.

My major concern is on push email-it is not effective since you have to update the mailbox to get the emails.There is no notification for a new email.My question is=How do i get my push emails without having to update the mailbox?Any idea out there?

I am having a question regarding the Menu in Samsung Wave:
1) Is there any option for changing the black color background in the menu with any wall paper?
2) Is there any other UI of Menu display apart from grid view?
3) What's the latest firmware for "Samsung wave GT S8500" (India).
4) Any third part apps like Gtalk, Google maps for Samsung wave.
